Overview
Boasting a wide range of spa services, access to thermal baths and 3 gourmet dining options, the resort offers garden views from every room, a 3 hour-drive from Arequipa. Private parking is free. At the Colca Lodge Spa & Hot Springs Guests can go on horse-riding trips across the Colca Valley or simply unwind on the spacious sun loungers by the garden. Basic internet satellite service is available at the front desk. Rooms feature a warm ambiance. There are parquet floors, rugs, stencilled walls and decorated wood panelling. “A beautiful place to stay!”
Colca Lodge everything we hoped it would be. The staff were delightful, the food excellent and well priced. It's a true get away place for a long weekend or like us a stop off on a Peruvian adventure. The best part - the hot spring pools with it's pool bar alongside. Location is dreamy and the room we had was spacious and immaculately clean.

“Stunning location for a very nice resort with a great restaurant”
The location is stunning. The rooms are large and nicely decorated, although we were in a room with another room directly above us and this was a bit loud (and could have been much worse). There are nice facilities on the property (an alpaca farm and a couple of information centers (on alpacas and condors) that were very well done.) The spa facilities, where we had massages, were very nice. The restaurant is very good for lunch and dinner, and certainly acceptable for breakfast. The level of service was very high and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

“Hot springs were great and nice areas to see around the property. Also a nice walk to Yanque.”
Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant has some nice options for dinner. The property is beautiful and hot springs were amazing.

Colca Lodge sits opposite Pulqiq and Las Casitas along the Colca river as "the three luxury resorts of the Colca Valley" near the small town of Yanque. Personally as for authenticity (the Peruvian cuisine restauran) and facilities (hot springs bath directly on the property plus the hotel's own alpaca ranch and museum) and even more so price (far more affordable than the other two), the Colca Lodge is my hands-on favorite choice in the Colca Valley.

“Unique lodge with exceptional access to Uyo Uyo, guided by the hotel dog”
Delightful stay at Colca Lodge. The highlight is being able to hike to the Uyo-Uyo ruins; they are spectacular and with few or no other visitors. We were also reassured as we were accompanied by the hotel dog, who knew the hiking trails well and even showed us some alternatives. We didnt catch his name but he is a mid size brown dog. The access to the hot springs on site is also fantastic. The rooms are rustic but comfortable; the restaurant reasonably priced by European standards, and Yanque is a 30minute hike away. We got here using a taxi from the square in Chivay.

“Everything exceptional! (except for the box breakfast)”
Loved the hot springs! There was even a bar next to it and the lady brought the drinks to you while you're relaxing in the hot springs. It was quite full at 5 pm but there was still enough space. The rooms are very beautiful. The bathroom has everything you need and more, with great little products. The welcome drink was nice. The property is very beautiful.

“Amazing place! Highly recommended.”
The hot springs, location and grounds are amazing! Food for dinner and breakfast as well. We had a very relaxing stay. Go early early morning or middle of the night for the hot springs, you will have them to yourself. Gorgeous!

“Nice hotel in the Canyon”
Wonderful area, the restaurant was very nice (the smaller dining room). Garden is beautifully arranged and looked after. We didnt use the hot springs. Rooms are ok, bathroom was huge.

“If you are going to Colca Canyon, I would think that this is the best location to stay.”
Very attractive location within the canyon. The staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. My room was larger than I needed but was competitively priced and well appointed. Dinner was fine, breakfast was very good. We made the most of the short time we had available at the resort.
