Stayed there for one night during a bycicle tour. Beautiful old Japanese house, nice staff and simple but delicious dinner and breakfast with self grown vegetables. Highly recommended.

Loved this! Stayed 1 night in a tiny house in the garden. Toshi is a lovely host, and the "reception/restaurant/cafe" part is just beautiful. This man has taste! There is a little shop with vintage items, clothes and deco. And some kitchen items if you want to heat something up (upon reservation you can also have dinner). Breakfast was great, made with attention, good coffee. Very nice atmosphere, we felt welcome, in the country side, great stop. Good parking 100m from the house.

The staff were so generous and kind. I asked in advance if they might provide vegan meals for me, and they warmly accommodated. The meals were delicious and nourishing. (If you would like vegan meals, be sure to email them in advance.) I loved the location. I loved hearing the babbling brook outside my room. So serene. It was a nice base for the one-hour hike up to Hottarakashi Onsen, where I watched the sun rise over the mountains (and later returned to watch the sunset). By car, Hottarakashi Onsen is less than 10 minutes away.

Such a nice host and a lovely house in the mountains. Very convenient to visit Hottarakashi onsen and Yamanashi fruit park. The area is very rural and beautiful with lot of farms including grapes plantations. The guest house is well decorated with chill music and offers a large common space with comfortable sofas. And all the house is as warm than the host. I will definitely come back.

Nice authentic house in biggest fruit growing area of Japan. In house architect at work, very nicely styled. Combination of traditional japanese and modern. Host speaks excellent English and is enthusiastic. Very quiet in the evening. Nice garden

The owner and his own bar where you can get in toch with him, he is very friendly :)! He cooked me a vegan curry, which was very nice :)!

There are lots of amazing things around this place. You can have nice local specialties and enjoy hot springs. In addition to this, the staff are welcoming and friendly! I definitely recommend it to my friends and family!

Great house, well furnished with a very nice garden and great view! We spend part of our evening sitting on the heated mat in the main room while having drinks and snacks, it felt like an authentic Japanese party :D

The villa we stayed is fascinating, the window wall is facing to a natural scene and able to hear the streams of the river. The function hall has a full range of vintage stuff laid out and everything is well preserved and displayed. The music is also country chic, making the experience extraordinary.
