“We had an awesome stay at hotel route inn Yamagata”
We stayed in a twin room at the 3rd floor of the hotel. And just to my delight there is a small little smoking room a few steps away from my room. Which is a big plus to my liking. The breakfast spread is awesome and delicious. The hotel has plentiful of parking spaces. And it’s absolutely free. Rooms size is ample and comfortable for both me & wifey. And the first floor public onsen is clean, spacious, tidy and well maintained. We absolutely enjoy our stay at this hotel & will definitely be back.

“Great value for money hotel”
I chose this hotel specifically for its price point and free parking. The hotel feels relatively new and its well maintained. As like all hotels in this chain the main draw is its along a major road artery just outside the city, good for road trippers and stopovers. The breakfast selection is limited but decent and above average, typical Japanese hotel fare. The room and bed are also typical Japanese size. If you're on a budget and you are driving, I would recommend this hotel chain. But you can't be a fussy traveller. This is a basic hotel with basic amenities. If you're familiar with Japanese chain business hotels like Daiwa-Roynet, Mitsui Garden, Toyoko Inn, this is similar in some respects.

“Excellent breakfast, good location, comfortable beds.”
A warm welcome from the front desk. A good explanation of the facilities. Wifi was easy to access, and at a high speed. Good location close to the main highway, and on the main road to Yamagata City centre. Very large car park. Good-sized, clean and well-equipped room with comfortable beds. Usual excellent breakfast with a good choice of menu. Restaurant open in the evenings, and good ramen/ gyoza restaurant over the main road.

The hotel was clean, organised and in a good location if travelling by car. It is located directly next to a Lawson's and some good local restaurants. The included breakfast was great. The staff were amazing and tried their best to accommodate any needs or questions. The public bath was lovely and well maintained and vending machines and a microwave are also provided on the first floor. The room we booked was also very spacious compared to other similar style and cost hotels.

Front desk Staff were very attentive and efficient, eg. walked out of the lobby to guide us to the correct parking space under such cold weather. The entire hotel's staff are generally courteous including cafe's Staff at breakfast point. Very clean room, comfortable bed linen and value for monies for such room size with a decent variety of breakfast . Coined Laundromat, free large carpark and free coffee at the lobby certainly a plus point.
