Individual secluded cabanas with all the necessary facilities, if not within the room then available on site. The owner Arturo is exceptional and can organise any extras (eg: guide with birding knowledge for day trips to local Mayan ruins at a fraction of the cost of online options) Town with restaurants and limited shopping all within a few minutes walk.

It was such a nice property. The grounds are kept clean, the rooms are spacious with many ammenities and there is even a little plunge pool for the guests. Ample parking if you are driving your own car. It is quiet on the outskirts of town and there is running hot water in the shower! The owner is so lovely and very easily reachable via WhatsApp. In the morning he even brought me some biscuits to have with my hot drink as I sat on the terrace!

“Comfortable and relaxing place to stay for visiting Calukmal”

Lovely bungalow and veranda to sit on. Very clean. Great coffee in the room. Restaurants are short walk away on the main highway. Host was helpful and organised us a trip to Calukmal. It’s perfect for a stop off to visit the ruins.

A very pleasant place, creating an oasis in Xpujil. Set back from the main road, it's quiet. The host is kind and helpful. A good base for exploring nearby attractions such as Calakmul or the Bat Cave.

We'd highly recommend staying at this hotel! Very spacious room, nice shower and we got to cool off in a lovely new swimming pool. Location very convenient to visit nearby archeological sites (we went to Calakmul) and a couple of restaurants walking distance. Arturo was a fantastic host - he is really friendly and responsive, and kindly organised transfers for us from Chetumal airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to Bacalar, at very reasonable prices (he actually drove us himself on both counts - excellent driver!).

“A wonderful hidden gem in Xpujil”

Arturo, the proprietor, is a wonderful and gracious man who welcomed us daily as we returned to the accommodations. He gave us lots of good advice as to where to go, things to do and places to eat. He joined us one evening for our happy hour gathering, even procuring a bottle of wine and snacks! He has made Casa Las Lolas a very comfortable and interesting place. The cabins are very nicely finished, the gardens with their diverse trees and orchids are interesting. Arturo is improving the property continuously. He is putting in a bar, chairs for astrotourism (dark night) experiences, and a breakfast room. The bhotel is off the main highway so there is no traffic noise.

Cute little room for 4 with hammock & patio surrounded by jungle. Very friendly owner and despite our lack of Spanish skills we managed to communicate. Would highly recommend as base for visiting Calakmul which is awe inspiring.

“Unique experience in the jungle”

Beautiful place surrounded by the jungle and perfect location to reach Calakmul. The road to get there is a bit bumpy but easy to access with any car. The furniture in the room was new and the place was very clean with a cozy outdoor space with an amaca to relax. Recommended if you want to have a unique experience in your trip and a handy place to stay overnight before or after visiting Calakmul. There is an oxxo few minutes away and lots of restaurant in the area as well.

Very welcoming and friendly hosts. The room was very comfortable, spacious and the bed was luxurious. Nice terrace area to sit and relax. The shower was very good and quick to warm up and stay warm.

it is the best hotel we've been to in mexico. it's very clean and the host is super kind! it is a very good place to visit calakmul. we were sad because we spent only one night in this hotel, we would have liked to stay here more!

The room is spacious and very clean. It has a very comfortable bed and good bathroom. Our room also had a coffee machine and fridge - everything we needed for a great and relaxing stay! Lovely outdoor area to enjoy too.

Set back from the road so is nice and quiet. Great stop off point for Becán ruins. Comfy beds and easy checkin. Shops and restaurants walkable. Nice to have a coffee machine and fridge
