“Wonderful wedding.”
It is very slow and a map with the location of the rooms would be helpful. Although the guest facilities lady was very helpful, it is ridiculous only having one person there. The queues and wait times to book meals was horrific.

great food (buffet) and hotel facilities. beach is clean and beautiful. pool area is great for kids. the hotel barcelo maya palace is one of many hotels on the area. there is so much to do, also sports activities such as mini golf, bowling, tennis, go kart (14 years plus!) only annoying thing: we had to reserve our sun beds at 5.20am (!) to make sure we have a place in the shade for the babies…

“Meh, disappointed”
Sadly nothing comes without a “but”. The rooms where spacious and nice, but we explicitly asked for an ocean view, paid extra for it, and they put us on the ground floor which meant that the ocean view was really a concrete and people view, and we had zero privacy. The beach was nice, we had a lovely afternoon there, but there was no service so we constantly had to take it in turns to go for new drinks. We stayed in the adults only resort and it was definitely so much nicer than the others, but it definitely didn’t take my breath away. It was clean, but then again when we arrived we found what looked like a massive bugger stuck to our shower wall. The restaurants are nice, then again, they wouldn’t sit us unless all of us where present and they make it very clear when it’s time to get up and leave.

“Great place to go with family, tons of food, activities and choices, clean and good service overall.”
Location was great, beautifully organized with tons of pools for kids and adults, sport activities for kids, entertainment through the day, very well organized. Food was always amazing, so many options and choices for every taste or special diets/restrictions. If you did not see anything on the daily options, you just had to ask. We did ask for se few things just a couple of times and everything was prepared within 10-15 min and delivered to your table.

This was our first time at an all inclusive resort and it definitely didn't disappoint. The staff were amazing, the facilities were fantastic (awesome if you're travelling with kids) and the food was delicious (and plentiful!). I'd love to return again one day and stay longer.
