Located in a large green quiet compound. The rooms were clean and comfortable, The staff were all friendly and helpful. The Manager, Warren Wang, was particularly helpful with essential local tourist information, ensuring that our stay was a good one,

The standard room was really big and quiet with good sound isolation. Opening the windows one could enjoy bird sounds :)

Lovely big room with an enormous bed! Quite an old style hotel which made it very charming. Nice staff. Did not try the breakfast.

“Comfortable and spacious”

Room was probably the largest I have ever stayed in in my life! Very spacious, plenty of room to spread out, repack luggage etc. The room was very clean but the hotel overall has seen better days - it's a little tired and worn out but this is just an aesthetic issue, it did not impact negatively at all on our stay. I had the best sleep in this hotel out of our whole holiday in China! Staff friendly, professional, courteous and went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable.

Loved the location..it was a beautiful oasis in the middle of town. Within the old city walls. The staff were charming, friendly and helpful! The biggest bed in any hotel we've ever stayed in...and the linen was beautiful and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, full of character and with the most helpful English speaking staff ever! We arrived off a night train at 9am and were thrilled to find our room ready and waiting. Nothing was too much trouble.

Location was excellent - close to subway station & either walkable or a short taxi ride to anywhere in the city. Room was clean & quiet. Breakfast was fine. Would stay again.

Warren at the front door was always polite and engaging. Our king bed was huge. Large room and bathroom with nice linens.

Nice location within Renmin Square. Access to other hotels within the square (to use pool/gym facilities) and nearby restaurants was great. Slightly dated interiors but still a great stay for the price point.
