Charming Namibian Cottage with charm warmth and personality. Louisa was a great host, available for anything we needed. Whilst she lives on the property, our cottage was completely private with a separate entrance. We work remotely when we travel and the WiFi was fantastic. Namibia is extremely dry, so it was awesome to wander the gardens with succulents cacti and find the quirky metal scuptures of the native wild animals amongst the landscape. Happy to recommend.

The unit is spacious with a separate large living area, separate kitchen and room. It is like having your own home with all the comforts one can need for a longer stay.

simply put - this apartment is perfect. Louisa, the host, is the sweetest! always there for a chat and any questions we had too. the apartment is on the ground floor and it felt very private, with our own little gates and sitting area outside. it‘s decorated with taste and love, which made us feel right at home. there‘s everything you need too, from bathroom amenities and a welcome basket + folder to a fully equipped kitchen with any appliance you can think of. also the neighbourhood is quiet and beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Windhoek and would happily send any of my friends and family to stay with Louisa anytime!

The host was very ameniable, the apartment very spacious with large bedroom, large lounge area and a spacious, fully equipped washing kitchen. You are provided with everything you need for a reasonably.long stay (I was there a week). Only a short taxi ride into the centre of town and to nearby malls.

The apartment was fantastic. Everything that you need is here. The decor of the apartment is also beautiful, also very spatious. Great location and cheap taxis to everywhere. Louisa was also a fantastic hostess , always there to answer questions, and very helpful for information on places to go. All in all, it has been a great place to be. If I do come to Windhoek again, this is where I will come.

Quiet, clean, private, spacious, well maintained and brilliant host. Everything had been considered ahead of our arrival to ensure that we didn’t want for anything whilst we were staying in Windhoek. The location is good if you want to be tucked away a little out of the city and is only a 5 minute walk to the Heinitzburg Hotel which has an incredible view of the sunset over the city. We really appreciated having our own washing machine and a very well equipped kitchen so that we could cook for ourselves most days.

Spacious, clean and bright space on Luxury Hill near the Heinitzburg castle. The kitchen is well equipped and also spacious. The owner, Louisa, is very kind and helpful. We would stay here again.

Louisa is super friendly and a real host. The unit is very private with a beautiful view over the city, walking distance from the shopping centers and everything that you need. From the point of booking, she was very helpful with recommendation of reliable and safe shuttle services, interesting places to visit, good restaurants to visit, honest car rental companies, etc.

Louisa's place was a great place to stay for work trip to Windhoek. It was well located in a quiet area 5-10 minutes taxi ride from the centre of town and within walking distance of a mall. I was there for two weeks and didn't want to stay in a hotel. The bedroom, living room and kitchen were separate so I had space to work and relax, and cook for myself. Perfect for my needs.

Incredibly on the 2nd day the room ran out of electricity. The owner told me I had used to much and had to purchase my own electricity. 👀 She then charged me to top up. In 30 years traveling for a living around Africa never have I had that. Otherwise it was nice.
