Location of the property is very close to mirror lake and all lake placid attractions. Yet it is outside the town and away from usual commercial hustle bustle to provide wilderness charm and setting.

Great location to town, good food, Ausable Chasm. Very helpful, friendly, available hosts. Chalets are so cozy and home-like, artistic touches, great amenities. We'd go to the area again just to stay at The Wilderness Inn and explore the area further.

This is the place we were looking for: quiet, in the forest and relaxing. We enjoyed the common BBQ. From here you can go around the Adirondack mountains. We hiked and went to the Mirror Lake and Colby Lake beaches.

Great location, close to all the attractions in Wilmington and Lake Placid, nice shared facilities, BBQs and fire pits. Cabins are spacious and comfortable but a bit dated. Kitchen was well stocked, coffee machine and pods was a nice extra to have.

Very cute cottage house, with great outdoor space, the place was quiet and located close to the most popular hikes and the town of Lake Placid, so perfect for a long weekend!

Super close to Whiteface and much better value than stay staying in Lake Placid. If you are here to ski drive into LP for a visit and stay close to the Hill. Excellent Communication and the check in was easy. New owners are great and working away at upgrades.

“It was everything we wanted and needed!”

We loved our stay here! It can seem silly but we really liked that the lights were on when we arrived in the dark. It felt immediately warm and secure. And it smelled so good from the wood structure of the cabin. The cabin was clean and cute. We loved that we could make a fire inside it really added something special to our evening. Plus, it was really close to our hike up whiteface for the next morning. We will be back again!

Great location just outside of a small village called Wilmington. Each cabin is nice and cosy. There's a nice field outside of each to BBQ and for kids to play.

The location and Michelle (housekeeping). There is a metal garden set next to the cottage but cushions are missing, so you can’t sit on it. Michelle provided a thick plaid, so that we had some comfort..
