The beautiful house, it was clean, spacious, good for a small family, good location, there is a bus stop close by that connects you to the main station easily. The property manager is very prompt with the response if you have any questions.Bonus there are cute neighborhood cats roaming around I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend 100% to book and would love to come again

Location is wonderful. A picturesque Swiss village. Super quiet at night and loved sitting out on the balcony in the mornings to have breakfast. The perfect place to base yourself for hiking in the region. Apartment is spotless, modernised and with everything you could possibly need. The 105 bus runs right past and that can easily get you to Wilderswil train station in 2 mins (10 min walk) or all the way into Interlaken.

Very easy check in and out. Owners provided very cute welcome signs and discount cards. Large salon/living room with large dining table and separate kitchen with its own mini dining table, equipped with everything you need. Large main bedroom and cute second bedroom. Private balcony on one side and a private verandah on the other. The family grow squashes and beetroot etc. so it was a delight to see them storing their own garden grown produce in plain sight. The dim light level with the lights in the property would suit people looking for a cocoon like experience. With a car, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald and Interlaken are all not more than 25 mins away. Very safe neighbourhood, looks like people look out for one another. Perhaps a little slice of Swiss paradise.

Beautiful 400 year old farm house converted into a cosy stay in Wilderswil. The house was spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked with equipment to cook any meal. The fondue set was a bonus! It was a wonderful place which made our honeymoon extra special!

“Great apartment with a few gotchas”

Spotless house with good facilities. The neighbourhood is quiet and well located. You owe yourself a walk towards the mountains and downstream towards the village. It's breathtaking. Just be wary of the cooler climate during the shoulder seasons and dress accordingly. There's a washing machine close to the side road with the washing liquid already provided. Please note that it takes a minimum of 1.5 hours to do a wash cycle. Hot water is readily available in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is amazing. Every utensil is provided for. A side note about the air extractor: you've to pull it out, and then you'll find the switch on buttons inside. The parking space is right next to the apartment and not on the road which works nicely when you've to unload your shopping.

We just spent a week in this chalet. I booked it based on the reviews on booking.com and it turned out to be a great decision. It’s a very comfortable house with all the basic amenities. We had a small plumbing issue upon check-in, which was immediately taken care of by the host. Host was always available without invading on our privacy. The heating was a bit low to my liking, but not uncomfortable at all. Location is perfect to explore Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen areas. Bus stops and train station are few minutes walk away. Kitchen had everything for a long term stay. Definitely staying back upon next visit!

The location is great! Near grocery stores, restaurants, and the train to nearby places (Grindelwald, Schynige Platt, Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken). The accommodations are large and clean, with laundry facilities and a dish washer. Parking onsite. We had a great time there!!

“Staying in an authentic Swiss chalet was cool!! 👍”

We loved the experience of staying in a restored Swiss chalet! It was originally built over 350 years ago, but the lovely young couple have made it into a really good place to stay- so comfortable , yet so authentic and true to the past! The main rooms were very big and spacious with lovely new wooden floors. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of storage , the shower worked well in the nest bathroom ….and the kitchen , though not brand new , was in very good condition and was very well equipped with everything you could need . Helena had provided lots of little extras like salt, dish washing liquid etc. Helena and Marc were so helpful and kind , going out of their way to help us a number of times! Helena were always so very attentive if needed, but never intrusive . It was very quiet and private. We loved staying in the chalet in weather that was unusually hot , as the spacious airy rooms and big eaves over the house kept the house cool. In winter it is probably warm for the same reason.! There was a little cute balcony room with table and chairs where we could eat , with views of the mountains, but mostly we ate inside because of the heat. We could comfortably eat in the kitchen but there was also a large dining room table in the living-room.The location is perfect- near the old square in the upper, original part of this beautiful village, with a free bus round the corner if you don’t want to walk for less than 10minutes to the station where there are two supermarkets. Views of the snowy Jungfrau make you want to walk though! Two hotels very near the chalet have very good restaurants if you don’t want to cook! We could say more, but I think it’s obvious that we would recommend this chalet for an authentic Swiss holiday. (Photo is from the little outdoor eating room - the “balcony” )

Beautiful setting. The apartment had everything you would need. Lots of space. Big lounge, dining room and kitchen. Lots of storage space.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is well situated for the Jungfrau Region and transport links across Switzerland

“Love the place very much”

The house is located at very secluded place. I love the neighbor and it is easy access by bus. If you do not mind to walk abit the train station is near by walking less than 10 mins. My sister and I have pleasant nights there. Wish to visit again. The host is friendly, they provide us oat and there is a amazing coffee bean available in the coffee machine.
