“Perfect accomodation and amazing hosts”

What an amazing stay we had in Winderswil. The hosts were amazing. They were kind and extremely helpful with local recommendations and they even so kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the station! The place itself was exceptionally clean and clearly well looked after with fantastic kitchen facilities allowing us to cook meals for ourselves during our stay. We loved the location as it was a short walk (5 minutes) to wilderswil train station which allowed us to access everywhere we wanted to go including interlaken and grinderwald. We could not recommend staying in this accomodation more! This really is one of the best places I’ve stayed and the hosts were fantastic. 11/10! Thank you so much Barbara and Jorg for having us and we hope to return one day!

“Beautiful, quiet location close to transport.”

Great location, fabulous hosts who kindly drove us to the train station on departure. Hosts also had helpful suggestions for places to visit & where to eat. Loved being able to sit on the verandah for coffee in the morning & a cool drink in the evening after a busy day. The apartment was set up with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

Chalet Sunnmätteli is an absolute gem of an apartment. We liked the cleanliness and the comfortable large bed. We like the excellent amount of little extras, such as coffee pods and milk pods, chocolate in the fridge, and bottled water. All left for us to use.

Everything here was perfect! 3 min walk to Wilderswil station. Super clean and spacious accommodation with kitchen & utensils, and lovely views. Owners kindly picked us up and dropped us off at Interlaken station which was very much appreciated

Location Location Location!!! 5mins to Wilderswil station, walking distance to groceries/ restaurants. Property is well maintained and super comfy. Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom is clean. Everything works! Best of all, Barbara and Jorg were like family. Thank you for such a lovely stay 💕

We loved our stay in Wilderswil, the hosts were amazing and welcoming picking us up from the train station in Interlaken and giving us great tips for the region. The location in Wilderswil was perfect, a lot quieter than Interlaken plus we received a guest card for staying in Wilderswil that allowed us to catch the train/bus into Interlaken for free (less than 10min ride) and gave discounts for some activities/gondolas. The room was great with a separate TV room and kitchen.

Hosts Barbara and Jorg were lovely and helpful. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful with stunning views! It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more. Some lovely little personal touches such as chocolates in the fridge. Amazing and would love to return one day.

Extremely accommodating hosts. Wonderfully quaint village neighborhood. Close to the train station. Loved the sun roofs. Loved the terrace. Loved the smart TV. Loved the full kitchen with condiments, utensils, pots and pans, plates, glasses, dishwasher. Loved the refrigerator with free Swiss chocolate from the hosts. Loved the garden with town and mountain views.

A great apartment with mountain views from every window and skylights. The kitchen is well designed with modern appliances and is well equipped. We originally planned to eat out each night and only use the kitchen for making breakfast, but the kitchen and dining area were so comfortable that we decided to stay in 2 of the 3 nights we were there. Barbara and Jorg were wonderful hosts.

We felt so "at home" during our stay here, due in no small part to the friendliness and warmth of our hosts. A beautiful flat with everything we needed for our stay, and just 5 minutes walk to the train and bus station to connect you easily to everywhere in the region. Perfect!

Everything. Our hosts were personable, thoughtful and kind; the accommodation was clean and comfortable and it was close (5 ~ 7 mins) to trains, buses, 2 x local convenience stores. Awakening each morning to significant quantities of local birds was a treat and overall the sense of calm from the accommodation was tangible.

Hosts of property are very kind, helpful. They kept and maintained property very well. Property is in the local neighbourhood where you will find lots of swiss chalets and local people and we really liked the fact that we got a chance to stay around local people and in traditional swiss chalet. I would definately recommend to stay here.

We really liked Barbara's and Jorg's attention to details. Every need was catered for. All the facilities were easy to find and use. The place is spacious, with lot of natural lighting, and very clean (including all the kitchen utensils). The owners are so friendly and they took extra miles to take care of us (like fetching us and taking us to the train station, chocolates in the fridge, etc). The surrounding is peaceful and felt very safe. The train station and grocery store are only a short walk away.
