For Switzerland very good - simple, clean, friendly, extra "kitchen equipment accesories". Quiet place, reasonable priced for Switherland. If description and reviews read correctly - it is what you get. Bed is ok. View assume from balcon or checked - outside tables is good! Breakfast good for Switzerland standards.

The breakfast was Vegetarian friendly with lovely Tea with milk, fresh fruits, Juice and and very freindly staff.

Comfortable, quiet peaceful and relaxing apart from people moving around on the floor above. Good size and comfortable beds. Quaint dinning room. Friendly staff. Clean.

“Perfect base for exploring alp region”

Property was in brilliant location with easy access to alpine towns we wanted to visit. The host and staff just couldn’t do enough for you, borrowed us things we had forgotten and just lovely touches like chocs and beers left in room. They want to make sure guests are always happy and well looked after. Rooms spotlessly clean and modern, and comfortable beds.

“Cozy modern-rustic chalet in a great location”

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet Gafri! The cabana is modern, rustic, warm, and very clean. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and every detail is carefully thought of. Every window has blinds, so you can sleep well. Breakfast is fresh and high quality. The owner and staff are very friendly and helped us plan our winter trip. The location is excellent – close to many sledge tracks and about 20 minutes from Grindelwald Eiger Express. There is no dinner, but you can use the kitchen to warm your food, and there are very good restaurants nearby with parking (2–3 min by car). Free parking in front is very convenient. Self check-in worked perfectly and made our arrival easy. Thank you to the host and team for the warm welcome and excellent service. We loved it and highly recommend it!

We stayed at Gabi and Fritz’ Chalet in Wilderswil from 21st to 24th September 2025. We had a wonderful time as a family of 4. The chalet was spacious，immaculately clean and a warm, cosy refuge in the cold and wet weather at the time. Gabi and Fritz were so hospitable and advised us at to the best options for activities in rainy weather. The chalet itself had floor heating and the insulation esp at the doors and windows were impressive. Not to mention the array of homely breakfast options including a homemade Bircher muesli, fruit salad, local bread and cheese, as well as homemade jams. The breakfast catered to our personal needs, making us feel right at home. They also offered two cute woodcrafted gifts for the kids. We wish we can come again one day.

The charm and character of the place. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. When traveling to Switzerland this is more of what I think of as that quintessential place to stay. My room was great! The place is more on the edge of town but only short walk (10 minutes). Which is actually nice walk after eating at a restaurant in town.

We had a wonderful time during our 4-night stay. We felt so welcomed and cared for by the owners. The place itself is nicely renovated and the room was set up with extra care for my kids, with nice surprises and even a stool in the bathroom for my youngest. Most importantly, the room was spotless which is super important for a cleaning freak like me. The vilage is beautiful and tranquil. Highly recommend.

The place was clean and spacious. The hosts were nice and friendly. You could get insights on travel around the area from the hosts. It's a bit of a walk uphill from the nearest bus station though.
