Location. Good linen and pillows. TV facilities. The kitchen was suitably equipped in terms of cutlery, crockery, however there was no sharp cutting or chopping knife and no braai tongs.

The beach and views were amazing. The flatlet was comfortable and clean. Martin went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. He even washed my car without me asking.

Stunning views in a tranquil location.

We had a fantastic few days here. Right on the beach - exceptional location. Martin is an absolute delight and the whole team made our stay unforgettable. Great also for families with small kids. Hopefully we can come back one day :)

The location is absolutely awesome! The apartment is spacious enough for a family of 4. Martin who looks after the property is Real Gem.

Location on beach, albeit nearly impossible for an older person or small toddler to climb the few rocks to get down to the beach. Seating outside. A small counter on the viewing deck by the tall chairs would be great. Pool, albeit tiny - I can’t imagine the whole property’s guests being in the pool all at once! Parking on the property. Outside shower to rinse off. Power during load shedding (when there’s no electricity). To our surprise, the kitchen was stocked with a few seasoning products, and all the utensils one could need. There was ice. Everything was clean enough. Martin was friendly and helpful when we eventually interacted. There’s ample cupboard space in the bedrooms but I never understand why holiday accommodation requires as much. Rooms could have a little more space.

The view from the house was EXCEPTIONAL! Not to mention the beautiful sound of the ocean you could hear all the time. The access to the beach was perfect for the kids and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It was so lovely to have access to a braai! Martin who handed over the keys was such a lovely gentleman with the biggest smile and we cannot wait to visit Shanalulu Sands again.

Excellent view

Perfect location with private access to the beach, we enjoyed every minute. Shanalulu is definitely well worth it. We will be back.
