“An amazing stay for a young family”
The setting is stunning and the house has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The host was amazing, leaving us with Bottles water, chocolates, charcoal and fire lighters when we arrived. He remained very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend this place.

“Spacious, comfortable home in a tranquil setting”
A beautiful setting, secure plot, cosy beds, lots of thoughtful touches: hospitality tray, cold water, washing up kit, binoculars to watch the wealth of bird life, braai starter kit, free use of kayak (no life jackets). Joplins Restaurant near entrance is an excellent dinner option if you like steaks. Short drive to a Spar and other places to eat. Great communication from the owner. Our family (2 adults, tween and teen) didn’t want to leave (stayed 2 nights as part of our Garden Route road trip).

“Beautiful peaceful home in nature, plenty of space, great hosts”
The location is amazing! We absolutely loved taking the kayaks out on the river to the waterfall walk. It was so homely, plenty of space, great kitchen facilities and the owners had even left bbq stuff (charcoal, matches and fire lighter) plus little chocolates and milk in the fridge. Loved the pool on the site as well.

“A peaceful getaway”
The accom on the river was peaceful and quiet. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the birds and river. Felt relaxing all the time.

“Lekker”
Wonderful accommodation, right on the water. All necessities provided for, including kayaks to enjoy on the river. Basson was very welcoming and responsive to all queries. Will be our first choice of stay when we are in Wilderness again.

Great location and surroundings. Use of the canoes was an unexpected bonus. Lovely little extras like bottle of water and charcoal and lighters for the bbq, tips from host about local hikes.

“Comfy challet on the river”
Lovely stay right on the river, with pretty views, braai facilities and balconies. The accommodation had everything we needed, including aircon in the main bedroom, which has a beautiful view. Bed was comfy and the whole challet is spacious. Very friendly host and a happy stay.
