I returned to Normaries after being here four years ago—and I know exactly why I came back. The hospitality and kindness of Anne and Norbert are truly unmatched. Besides the place being absolutely stunning and surrounded by beautiful nature, there are wonderful hiking trails and many other outdoor activities available just minutes away, either on foot or a short drive. The breakfasts are something else altogether: enjoying freshly made breakfast each morning with a view over the lake is pure magic—and when I say amazing breakfast, I mean the best. Thank you, Anne and Norbert, for being such beautiful humans and for always making sure your guests feel genuinely taken care of. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful small guest house approx 6 miles from centre of Wilderness. The hosts Norbert and Ann Marie were exceptionally kind even managing to book us into Serendipity for a meal. They also gave us great recommendations each night for dinning. Breakfasts were lovely.

Excellent breakfast, with the most beautiful view from the balcony. The cream cheese and beetroot spread that is homemade was truly yummy! Normally you get very little choice for breakfast at a guesthouse, but this spread was amazing, and truly delicious!

Anne and Norbert are very nice hosts sharing all interesting information about their Guesthouse and surrounding areas of wilderness. The nice breakfast was prepared and served with great passion in their living room with a fantastic view. We can only recommend this Guesthouse.

It is difficult to find any accommodation that could eclipse Normarie's Guesthouse. Absolutely spic and span, the entire property including very spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms were, modern, splendid and yes, there are electrical outlets all over the place. High speed internet, Yes! Thank you! Breakfast was superlative from the upper floor that overlooked the lagoon. And, wait for it, yes, the pool was sparklingly clean; in fact the charming owners deserve a medal! Bravo!

A week spent in a most wonderful location with guests in Norbert & Anne Marie to suit. They were curious, great location guides & super breakfast hosts. We certainly shall return if next opportunity knocks. Generally super holiday.

The hosts are wonderful. As we were the only guests for the bulk of the time, it was wonderful to have the pool to ourselves, quiet late afternoons with wine and cheese on our patio...lovely peace and quiet that we needed for our holiday. Plus an amazing view over the lake! Oh and... Brilliant breakfast!
