Great location and easy access to the beach. Quiet and well equipped everything you need for on getaway. Smelled good. Clean Martin the housekeeper was excellent! The owner was kind enough to extend our stay with another day.

The position of the property to the beach is wonderful and the property is spacious yet cost for a family of four. The host Martin was so accommodating and friendly. It's so easy to walk to the village too.

Martin was the coolest guy. He was super nice, responded super quick and was really helpful with recommendations. He even cleaned the car and helped with the luggage! The view is perfekt, while sitting on the balcony you can see and hear the ocean. There is a small pool that you can use and there is a direct entrance to the beach. Good restaurants are in walking distance. The neighborhood is really safe and we walked to the restaurants even at night. It was a really lovely stay and we felt welcomed all the time. Definitely gonna come back once we are back in SA. Thank you martin!

A spectacular beachfront home ensconced in the plush mountains of Wilderness. Jakkalsbessie was everything I imagined and far more. The views from the home are absolutely breathtaking and Martin, who lives on the property was the consummate host. Property is a walk away from the local Spar and other ammenities. Garden Route Mall is also about a 15 minute drive from the property. I experienced no power cuts throughout my time there, the kitchen is almost fully kitted out with cutlery and crockery (they even have spices and other condiments available to use).The WIFI connection was stable throughout, there were books available in the apartment for me to read over and there is a wall unit available to warm up the home on colder nights. There is also a private entrance to the beach from the property as well. The apartment truly felt like home. As a first-time solo traveller, the surrounds are incredibly safe with a very visible security presence. My stay at Jakkalsbessie was unforgettable. Would 100% recommend! :)
