Escape to the Beach exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment we arrived, Sarie and the team made us feel like the only guests in the world. The location in Wilderness is simply breathtaking — waking up to the sound of waves and stepping out to that view is something I'll carry with me for a long time. The accommodation itself was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and had everything we needed for a perfect two-night stay. The attention to detail — from the welcome touches to the quality of the linens — made it clear that the hosts truly care about their guests' experience. I've stayed in many places around the world, but Escape to the Beach stands in a category of its own. If you're considering it, stop hesitating — book it. You will not regret it. We're already planning our return.

ETTB is EXCEPTIONAL. The property is gorgeous, it's decorated to such a high standard of interior design, the rooms are comfy, stylish, quiet and private. The beach is on your doorstep - we watched dolphins with breakfast every morning. The property provides unbelievable breakfast + free alcohol, drinks, snacks and cakes everyday - we thought the reviews were too good to be true when we booked but they werent! This place is just fantastic. It was our favourite place on The Garden Route. You are a 3 minute walk from the centre of all restaurants. The staff are amazing, Lyl looked after us so well. I can't recommend this place enough. If you are in Wilderness you MUST stay here!

An incredible place. Nina is a great host and Lyle runs the place perfectly and nothing is too much trouble for him. Amazing locating, stunning interiors and an amazing breakfast. The complimentary snacks and incredibly well stocked free bar run through the day and are exceptional. We will most definitely be back.

We had the time of our lives! The setting, the facilities,, management and staff were next level and could not be faulted. The exquisite breakfast buffet, served on the pooldeck overlooking the ocean,guaranteed a good start to every day!

This property is amazing. Beautiful in every respect, styling, comfort, staff, rooms, beachfront and a few mins walk to a few restaurants and mini supermarket. Room stocked with everything you could think off.

The design is something out of interiors magazine. A dream house in a fabulous location with beach views and minutes walk to lovely restaurants. Free all day bar with premium brands. Snacks and cake. Pool heated to 30degrees

The location is unbeatable, overlooking the Indian Ocean , with a long , sandy beach to stroll along and the arrival of a pod of dolphins in the bay to entertain us !

Love everything from the beautifully furnished rooms, the fantastic view, lovely warm saltwater pool, steps down to the beach, 5 minutes walk into town, amazing breakfast, wonderful selection of drinks and snacks and friendly and attentive staff. It was our second visit and we will be back!

The breakfast buffet was outstanding in terms of choice and presentation and as for the hot breakfast the eggs Benedict were exceptional. We were thoroughly spoilt by wonderful attentive staff it’s not surprising that so many guests keep returning. Very lucky to get a booking in January.
