This new apartment is located in a beautiful thatched-roof building in Wieck, just 150 metres from the Bodden lagoon. Fully renovated in January 2016, it offers free WiFi and free on-site parking. Set on 2 levels and suitable for up to 4 guests, Ferienwohnung Schwalbe Wieck/Darss offers 2 double bedrooms, a living room with kitchenette, and a bathroom with a window facing the garden. There are 2 separate balconies, one in a bedroom and one in the living room. The building is very quiet and consists of only 4 apartments. The building is surrounded by greenery on a bike path towards the Bodden (lagoon) so there is no traffic noise. All interiors are decorated in warm bright colours. Protected by the west winds by Darß Forest, Wieck is an ideal base for exploring the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park all year round.

The apartment is airy and light, neutral furnishings and some nice paintings. It's on the edge of the village set back a bit off the road and it has dedicated parking which is great. The beds were comfortable, we took our own pillows though so don't know about the pillows. Plentiful crockery so could just load the dishwasher for our stay and set it going at the end, a real luxury.
