If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!

“Fantastic Short Stay”

Really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was well appointed, private and secluded - and served as the perfect escape to get away from everything. Also amazing views and close to all the main attractions. The hosts (Carol and Warren) were excellent and knowledgeable with some great advice on places to eat and things to see. They were super flexible and accommodating to our needs and communication was great all round - and the breakfast was tasty! Would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity! Thanks for the lovely stay.

Location was lovely, amazing view over the town out to sea, delicious breakfast and helpful friendly host. The lodge was lovely and cozy, huge spa bath, clean and beautifully decorated.

Clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras. The breakfast was great. Warm croissants with ham and cheese, yogurt, fresh fruits, muesli and juice. The bathroom had double showers and a spa bath. The views were amazing and gorgeous sunrises. Close location to the Lost Springs and had a gorgeous meal at Marina Bay.

We loved staying in the spacious private studio, which had everything we needed. It was wonderful to receive a delicious breakfast each morning and Warren and Carol were great at helping us plan our days out for walking and nearby beaches. We also enjoyed relaxing in our private garden, enjoying the spectacular views.
