We had a fantastic stay at the Tern Inn. John and Lisa are perfect hosts and the property is lovely. We wanted for nothing! Breakfast was excellent every day. Ice and water is available, and water bottles are provided since there are no small single use bottles allowed in the area. This thoughtfulness is reflected in the rest of the room, we had everything we could need. Plus there are beach chairs and bikes available to borrow. The location is perfect, with a beach walking distance and beautiful Chatham just up the road. We believe we found the perfect place from which to explore this amazing part of the world.

The Tern Inn is the perfect spot to discover Cape Cod and relax. And breakfast was a treat!

“Great stay!”

Very cozy and clean room (Gazebo) even equipped with a fireplace, which was nice for chilly fall weather. Good starting point to explore the Cape Cod area, which is one of the most fascinating places we have ever visited. Lisa and John are great hosts and the breakfast was awesome.

Everything! After the hustle and bustle of Boston - the Tern Inn was peaceful and tranquil. The owners are very attentive and offered good advice about what to see and do on the Cape. The breakfast was very good indeed - wide choice of food from cereal, fruit to cooked breakfast - all good fare.

“Excellent, nothing more to say!”

The breakfast choice was better than anywhere else we had been. The couple who run the Tern are very nice and the accommodation was very well cared for and decorated. It was obvious that the owners did not compromise on decor and fixtures and fittings nor facilities. In fact the Swimming pool was being completely rebuilt. Ideal for a summer break. We stayed 3 days and it was without doubt the best stay we had all trip. The owners were happy to advise on local tourist info and areas. We would have liked to stay another couple of days! Parking was good. We had a bowl of chocs etc and nibbles as well as coffee and teas in the room. We also liked the free Tern water bottles provided so we were able to fill them up and reuse. Still are in the UK! A real gem in the Cape.

Beautiful decor, very comfortable bed, owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. First time in a B & B so it will be very difficult to find anything that compares to The Tern!

This is a beautiful B&B, run with care and pride. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and they really do make you feel at home. I appreciated borrowing a beach chair one day. Great quality breakfast. My room was spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. It had a lot of charm.

This is a very cute place .. traditional Cape Cod b&b… I loved the very beachy Cape Cod feel to this place and John and Lisa, the owners, could not have been nicer.

Everything at the Tern Inn was exceptional! The property is very well maintained and the guest suites are large, spacious and super clean! I loved how each of the rooms have their own decor and they had everything you could need while away. The toiletries were a super nice touch as well and the rooms felt very quaint and cozy and well appointed. The breakfast was fantastic! There was selection of hot and cold items and nothing was lacking. The property is located in the BEST location on Cape Cod, central to everything while still being on a quiet and quaint street. We had a fantastic stay. John and his wife were friendly and informative and made us feel at ease while providing the locals best tips on how to enjoy our stay. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat and would stay again!
