The hotel is located in an incredibly picturesque area, and the view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking. The room was very cozy, with beautiful wooden interiors and impeccable cleanliness throughout. I would also like to give special thanks to the chefs — the food was delicious, varied, and exceeded all expectations. The service was outstanding, and every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. One of the most convenient features of the hotel is the shuttle service to and from the train station, especially when traveling with luggage. Peaceful, however still central location in Wengen which proved to be a much better choice than the overcrowded Lauterbrunnen. Beautiful view from our room and very good dinner for hotel guests.

We were exceptionally positively surprised by our stay at AlpenRose this year. We've been coming to ski in this area for many years but have always used to rent a self-standing apartment. The apartment we booked within the hotel was fantastic, very cosy ambiance and the hotel's facilities were incredible - quality breakfast and 4 course dinners as well as many cosy common areas which we could use in the evening to play chess or have a drink. We're sure to come back and loved every minute of our stay here.

Breakfast good, Dinners excellent, and the view from our room in the annex, room 507, was breath-taking. A great transfer service from the station to the hotel with a friendly chap from Porto.

The view from our apartment is amazing, alpenrose has excellent vantage point to the village. The apartment is cleaned everyday, breakfast and dinner are delicious, staff are very accomodating, trully excellent swiss tradition.

We can’t rate Hotel Alpenrose highly enough. The hosts were so welcoming and couldn’t have been more accommodating. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the evening meals were superb value for money. Location was great, a short stroll from the station and beautiful views. We also loved the history and the pride taken in this being a family run hotel over so many generations.

The apartment was clean and wonderfully cosy. The combination of modern amenities with traditional Swiss chalet-style decor created a warm and inviting space that was a pleasure to return to each day. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our stay at Hotel Alpenrose was literally spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the breathtaking location and the stunning views. Honestly, we could spend days just sitting on the balcony, enjoying the amazing view and the quietness. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable. But what truly set this hotel apart was the staff, who are exceptionally skilled, attentive and prompt in every way. Every detail was taken care of, making us feel genuinely cared for our entire stay. Dinner is an absolute delight. Breakfasts were delicious, but dinner was pure fine dining magic. Each evening we had a unique selection of dishes with flavors that complemented each other perfectly. We also appreciated the early check-in, the pick-up from the train station and the beautiful gesture of a packed breakfast on our early departure day. The lounge area itself is wonderful, cozy and full of charm. In short, everything was superb, at the highest level, nothing to criticize. We miss this place and can only offer our heartfelt congratulations to Ursula and Daniel for carrying forward the wonderful tradition of this historic hotel and for combining personality with impeccable service.
