Overview
These stylish apartments are centrally located, just 100 metres from Weimar Berkaer Train Station. All feature designer furniture, a private balcony and free WiFi, as well as a fully equipped kitchenette. Design apartments "Hier war Goethe nie" are fitted with elegant wooden floors and LED mood lighting. There is a living and dining area with cable TV and DVD player. A delicious and healthy breakfast is offered for a daily surcharge. There are several shops and restaurants in the area and the local bus, which stops in front of the apartment, can take you to the bustling Goetheplatz in 2 minutes. The German National Theatre, the Congress Centrum and the Bauhaus Museum are a 7-minute walk away. Free public parking is available.

Our stay in Geothe war hier nicht apratment was vey comfortable beacause of its almost central location in a beautiful old building, very spacious rooms, stylish design and a very communicative and helpful owner of the flat. I especially liked two big bedrooms (the third one is small), the living room, and the well equipped, cosy kitchen with a balcony overlooking nice little gardens and the roofs of Weimar (the apartmanet is on the top floor). Additional highlight of the stay was a wonderfully smelling hand soap and shower gel:-). I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a commodious layout and doesn't mind climbing a few flights of stairs.

Beautiful apartment. We loved the mid-century style of the furniture! The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom neat and clean. Great location close to the centre of town, next to a bus stop with shops nearby.

The apartment was wonderful - extremely spacious, thoughtfully designed and clean with a fully equipped kitchen. Located a 10 minut walk away from the historical centre of Weimar, so we were able to just leave the car parked by the apartment (no charge for on street parking). The host was very communicative and friendly. It was a shame we were only there for one night!

This design apartment fits just perfectly to Weimar because of cultural and art points of the city. Easy to reach the city center on foot, there is everything you need for a short stay with a stylish touch by the owners. To visit their design shop is a must in order to bring a nice piece of memory back to home!

“Highly recommended but why an unnecessary lie?”
This is a great place and I have given it high marks. But it was rather surprising that the presentation of the place had a blatant lie. The apartment is not 100 meters form THE train station. It is 100 meters from A train station, and that is not the main station. if you, as we did, booked this apartment because we would come rather late and wanted a place close to the train station, it's of course a bad surprise to find out that you had to walk 25 minutes before reaching the apartment. The train station nearby is a local train station and very far away from the main one. When pointing this out to the owner he very fast became defensive and started giving me arguments about all the earlier customers being satisfied (a completely irrelevant argument). I think the truth is always the best. Just change the text and inform your visitors how it really is. it's very simple! Give your visitors the correct information so they can plan their trip with correct facts. I was astonished that this criticism was met with such defensive arguing. But apart from this complaint I have only positive things to say. Big, spacious apartment with great beds. Great location with a eco supermarket and local icecreamshop and local bakeries and coffee shops nearby.

“Fantastic!”
Fabulous, spacious, well-equipped apartment in a beautiful city. The beds and furniture were comfortable and it was an easy walk into the centre. Highly recommended!
