Our stay was exceptional. The location is beautiful and the accommodations are very comfortable and of such a generous size. We stayed with our two dogs, one of which is very reactive and this was honestly the perfect place for them. This was beyond dog friendly, there was an enclosed yard and each unit has its own enclosed yard. There was also an area where we were able to have the dogs off leash and then we were able to walk down to the water when the tide was out and have the dogs off leash there. They had the time of their lives. To top it all off, these amazing hosts left us a pie to enjoy. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Woodhaven has two lovely cottages on Passamaquoddy Bay between St. Stephen's and St. Andrew's in New Brunswick. Sparky, my four-legged traveling companion, and I are on a 4-month Epic Adventure Across North America. We took a break from exploring and spent our second day enjoying our little seaside cottage. The ocean view frequently distracted me from my book, and Sparky insisted on a walk on the beach but otherwise, it was a wonderfully lazy day. Later in the afternoon my genial hosts, David McKinstry, and Michael Rattenbury, were busy rebuilding the railing on their main deck. With a glass of wine in hand I offered helpful suggestions and I think my comments were sincerely appreciated. (Or perhaps not.) I highly recommend Woodhaven Country Lodge. It's fabulous! And Michael and David are fabulous too.

It is a beautiful, quiet location, surrounded by nature. The view from the porch is right on the Oak Bay. You can hear loons at dusk. The cottage is very specious and clean. They have a dryer, washing machine, full kitchen with appliances/dishes,, a fire pit outside and a jacuzzi on a back deck. It is very pet friendly with the space around the cottage gated in so if you have a dog you don't have to worry about it running off. The whole set up is very cozy. We went there with our 1yo and a 6 yo kids and they loved it. We also went whale watching at St. Andrew and it is only 20 mins away.

Everything! David and Michael were a treat to meet , our accommodation was spotless cosy comfy and much bigger than expected, it was peaceful, beautiful and relaxing, wish we had stayed longer, dog friendly Honey had her own fenced off garden, and loved meeting the beautiful Kate. will definitely recommend and visit again.
