I had a great stay at Tropic Inn, much because of the resident manager Thuan and his lovely staff. They really went above and beyond to accommodate for their guests, and always had the kindest smiles! The location is great as there are so many restaurants and shops nearby, as well as just a short walk to the beach. Wifi is stable and good, and they have a solid menu if you want to dine in. Rooms are comfortable with both ACs and fans. Really good value for money, and will definitely stay again if going back to Mount Lavinia.

Good size, clean, ensuited rooms with a fridge and kettle. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

“Very comfortable and convenient at a great price.”
Great location a short walk rom the beach. Very easy to get tuk-tuks to go further afield. Really helpful and friendly staff. Didn't try the restaurant but it looked good. Price was excellent value.

“Very good, would stay again!”
The staff were really professional and very nice to talk with, the inroom dining was great, food was really good and didn't have to wait long before staff brought my meals! Very close to beach, and a short walk to Galle rd for shops, very easy to get a tuk outside hotel as the street is well used for beach access and other hotels!

“Great Place to stay for activities around South Colombo, Moratuwa and Panadura.”
We stayed there for 10 days. Great room, we operated from the hotel for activities around Colombo and Panadura. Initially booked for 4+3 days and later extended for a total of 10 days - staff and room comfort were excellent! A/C was great after Colombo hear and humidity. Water pressure and hot water are also great.

“Clean, comfortable rooms within walking distance of the beach”
The facilities were clean, modern, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and willing to offer assistance. The hotel is also within an easy walk of the beach, which allowed our group to go for a refreshing early morning swim. Overall, would highly recommend!

“Nice staff at Tropic Inn”
The staff at Tropic Inn Hotelwere great. They were very helpful in answering our queries about the places we wanted to go and see. We enjoyed our short time here. The hotel is also quietly tucked away and only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Also about 20 minute tuck tuck ride into columbo city centre. All easy getting around and near the local train station.
