The hotel is located in the Wola area of Warsaw in "The Hub" which appears to be a central business district with many international company offices and ultra-modern high-rise buildings. There are a couple of parks within 5min walking distance (see Freedom Park beside the Warsaw Uprising Museum - also worth a visit). There are a few trendy cafes nearby but the hotel has a fantastic rooftop bar (21st floor) with stunning views, a cool vibe and great selection of drinks/food (although we didn't eat here). There is also a restaurant on the 1st floor (I think?) and breakfast is served on the 3rd floor. The breakfast selection was excellent with hot/cold breakfasts to suit all. The Holiday Inn Express and the Crowne Plaza share the same footprint (lifts etc.), but have a separate reception area for each. Staff were incredibly helpful in both and their English was excellent. The nearest metro station is 200m from the hotel and the tickets are very cheap (< €2 for 2) for a 20minute journey which will get you into the town centre. Warsaw has a history of occupation, resistance and resurgence and reminders can be seen throughout the city. We found the metro to be the easiest way to access the centre and you can traverse the city on the M1 and M2 lines. Taxis are also quite reasonable and we used UBER on occasion. The hotel can also arrange taxis upon request and provided us with a map and details of how to reach our chosen destinations.

The location is perfect, as you have access to the city center. The staff are professional and friendly. One of the few hotels that remembers their clients and it is quite nice to be welcomed back.

Great value for the money. Modern building and rooms. Nice location even if not directly in the centrum: plenty of restaurants nearby and trips to centrum were quick with Uber. Overall experience was positive.
