“All ready explained”
I stay at Holiday Inn expresses as much as possible and I own a company where we book 20-30 hotel rooms a month for employees. This was the first time ever I have had an issue with HIE. I called the hotel about 11 to let them know we had a delay and would be arriving around 0100. Female who answered was super helpful and went ahead and checked us in, so we just had to grab keys. When we arrived a older male was working the check in, could not find our rez, also when we explained we had checked in via phone with a female about 90 mins prior he implied we where lieing, no female has been there ect ect. Finally after showing him my call log, and booking info we were given two rooms, not at the rate I booked at, and on different floors. I travel enough to know not to fight with the front desk staff so I paid it took the keys and went to bed. I love HIE and will continue to always use them when possible, however this even was an extremely disappoint.

When we checked in, our room keys didn’t work for the number written on the card. We then had to go back down and the person made them work. We went back to the room and it was dirty. When we went back down to the lobby, after some time, it was discovered that the person put the wrong room number on our card and we were a floor down. So not only did this take 30 min of our time to solve, but they gave us keys to a room someone was staying in and we entered a room that was occupied at 3:00 am. Luckily, those guests arrived back after we were checked into our actual room which was right below. It did make us feel uneasy about the situation.
