DOCK INN Warnemünde offers extraordinary accommodation in overseas containers in the harbour of Rostock. The hostel has a sauna and water sports facilities, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom. You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property and a restaurant with buffet breakfast. A bar, a communal kitchen, a games room and an inhouse cinema are also available. From summer 2017 on, guests can enjoy a boulder hall. Bike hire is available at this hostel and the area is popular for cycling. The Shipbuilding and Maritime Museum is 3.3 km from DOCK INN Warnemünde, while the Neue Messe Rostock exhibition centre is 5 km away. The nearest train station and bus stop, Warnemünde Werft, is 200 metres from the property.

For a Hostel you get a lot. Sauna, Bouldering, Cinema, games, breakfast ... it could be a bit cleaner in the sauna to be honest but otherwise it was more like a small budget hotel than a hostel.

I was sleeping on the bulk bed which was leaning on the side, or actually the mattress was leaning on the side. Not just a little though but so much i couldnt fall asleep. The thing is that upper bunks are essentially hammocks with a mattress placed on top (which is a good idea though since they are not producing and noise, however, they should be treated with some degree of caution), so the mattress was slanted within the hammock. I couldn't fix it myself. Before I climbed up, I didn’t notice the issue, but by then it was too late to ask anyone at reception for help, as some people in the room were already asleep. For that price, I would expect the beds to at least be level. Also, everyone has to make their own bed, as the sheets are just left on top, not arranged. Long story short: it was too expensive for such basic things not to be properly set up.

The environment that invites to stay around.It feels cozy despite being an open floor plan plan. The rooms are nice, although can feel a bit narrow. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and all new. There is a sauna available for 2hrs per day. Really nice and clean. Buffet breakfast is really good and abundant of options. 14.90€. Also laundry available which works great.

The staff were all great and the room was very good. We felt at ease there and would recommend it to anyone. If we are in warnemunde again I would have no hesitation in using this hotel again. The atmosphere was amazing and the hotel is within easy reach of the town.

This is a very bad designed container. Not very comfortable and not cosy at all. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

“Good deal and really cool.”
I really like the spirit of the hotel. The staff was very friendly. Very close to the trainstation and busses. The sauna is free of charge. Breakfast is great.

“This is our destination for future visits in the region.”
An evening session in the Hafensauna was just perfect. All inclusive, open for house guests every evening, recommended to relax after long days walking visiting the highlights of Rostock and Warnemünde.
