Thank you to Joe for preparing a comfortable room with the room heater on before we arrive. Room amenities were as good as the hotel regardless of the room size which we have been informed earlier. Will definitely recommend to friends who plan to stop by at Wanaka.

Fantastic location. Small place but perfect as a place to crash after a long day out. Really friendly hosts. the bed was amazingly comfy! Close to lots of main attractions in the area, I would recommend the cinema as well for a unique experience and great cookies.

We are a couple from Belgium and visited this lovely place at the Wanaka Lake. It’s a 200m walk to the lake itself (about 5 minutes) surrounded by all you need. The place itself is as advertised, small but definitely large enough, clean, shower, bathroom and comfortable bed. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming - it feels like sleeping at the local’s home. The amenities are good, we really didn’t miss anything. Definitely worth your stay when passing Wanaka!

“Everything you need”
A “tiny house” version of a hotel room, but just right: everything was comfortable, clean and maintained. Very close to the town center. Perfect for staying one or two nights.
