This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Sitting in the lounge/ dining room with the fire going at night with a nice bottle of red wine that we purchased on site was really nice. Room was comfy. Fantastic breakfast. Gaele was a lovely host and would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful environs, surrounded by nature in a very peaceful, old world setting, where the only sounds were bird songs. The host was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Our nourishing breakfast included a yoghurt and fruit entree, followed by poached eggs, bacon and avocado plus a choice of toast. Coffee, tea and orange juice were also provided. There was also a choice of cereals, but we preferred the tasty breakfast previously described. The bed was very comfortable and cosy, with elegant bed linen.

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Aberfeldy room, in this historic building so beautifully presented down to the last detail. Great cooked breakfast prepared by Gaele, perfect hosts, highly recommend.

“A beautifully presented property that helped us truly relax and enjoy Walhalla.”
Windsor House was immaculately presented. It felt like we were going back in time to the late 1800’s but with modern ammenities. It was perfectly situated in the town of Walhalla so once we parked the car on arrival we walked everywhere. Our bed and room was comfortable with lovely linen and pretty views. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Our hosts were friendly and were keen to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Very old property that had retained many of its vintage features. The room was split into a bedroom and sitting room, which was very comfortable. Breakfast included was prepared to order.

History, heritage, tastefully period correct decorated. Stayed on a 34 degree day with no air con and didn’t even notice. Owners very attentive, pleasant and friendly. Beautiful location
