“Lovely spot for a relaxing couples break”
Beautiful lush grounds, amazing view of the Martin Dam, particularly from our room. Exquisitely clean and classy natural stone finishes. The best bath I’ve had in my life - I usually avoid baths and far prefer showers. (Our shower was also fabulous btw.) Views to die for. And Christa’s food is delicate perfection. She’s a definitely detailed person and it shows in her attention to presentation and flavour. Beautiful walking path along the fast-flowing river. We stopped for a picnic in a lovely shady spot next to a rapid. It’s a premium facility and it’s definitely worth it’s price.

“An attractive property with pretty gardens, delicious food and a very warm welcome from the owner and host Christa”
Really lovely place to stay in Wakkerstroom. We had a very comfortable room, with a little deck outside where we could sit and enjoy the view over the dam and watch and listen to the myriad of birds. We walked on the hill nearby and met some very friendly donkeys. The steak and tipsy cake we had for dinner were fabulous, and an excellent breakfast too!

“Excellent breakfast and accommodation in Wakkerstroom!”
The accommodation was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We stayed for 3 nights but the unit can easily accommodate 4 people for longer periods as it is very well equipped for cooking and living. The excellent breakfast and hospitality of the hosts, Colin & Fay , made it an unforgettable memory.

“Tranquil, relaxing, clean”
We stayed in Unit 1, it has an amazing view of the dam and beautiful gardens from its balcony. The unit was spotless, everything worked as expected. Hosts were very friendly. Property is located in a fantastic birding hotspot. Sadly we only stayed for one night and we didn’t opt in for the breakfast but next time we will.

Picturesque location just outside town. Beautifully decorated rooms - loved the Victorian bath! Variety of breakfast options served in the dining room with lovely views! Lots of birds in the gardens and along the river walk.
