The female staff there was super nice! - very friendly and very helpful. The facility downstairs added a bonus point for us, as we had a whole place for us and had great craft beer.

Spacious room - we are able to place 2 big luggage and still have space to move around. A supermarket opposite and Donki store 10-min walk away which opens till 3am. Loads of eateries nearby. Helpful, friendly staff.

Charlie’s bed had amazing and spacious rooms. The common area was filled with information on where to go in Wakayama and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.

Room clean and big place for luggage

The room was much bigger than we had expected. It was comfortable, had a big kitchen, and a decent sized bathroom. The hotel was close to the main drag of Wakayama, and we were able to visit various restaurants and tourist locations with ease.

Great place for cyclists ! Small but well designed room. Well equiped. Bike storage & workshop area was great, along with the lounge area. Supermarket across the street and good bike shop next door !

“I 🩷 Wakayama”

The hostel is cozy, clean, well-equipped (dishes and spices can be borrowed/used, and there are washing machines), and well-located. Directly across the street is a large supermarket and drugstore, where you can find everything from mosquito repellent to complete meals. A bus stop, from which you can reach the JR station in 7 minutes, is a one-minute walk from the hostel. But the heart and soul of the hostel are the staff, who are consistently friendly and helpful and all speak good English. Anyone who needs a recommendation or assistance is in good hands there. I am truly satisfied with my stay overall.

The place was very clean and had all the amenities as listed. Mari(at the front desk) is very sweet and helping. There is a supermarket across the street.

“Bicycle friendly place”

This was a really great place to stay. Check-in was very uncomplicated and everything was really convenient. There is a possibility to cook, equipment can be borrowed and there was so much attention to detail. Even small things like an adapter cube to plug in USB cables which helped me a lot. I also spontaneously rented a bicycle, which I really enjoyed and the process can be easily done even without the staff present. I only stayed for a weekend trip but I think even for longer stays this place will be really nice. There's the option to wash laundry and for people traveling by bicycle there is a repair station. Since I'm often travelling alone, I can say that in this place I felt very safe and not uncomfortable at all. I can very much recommend this place :)
