Located 200 metres from the ski slopes and 50 metres from Štrbské Pleso Lake, Ubytovňa SHB Štrbské Pleso - Vysoké Tatry is a good starting point for hiking and skiing in the High Tatras. “Great location, good value for money”
The location was great, we were allowed the leave out bags at the hotel early whilst we explored the local area. The price was great too. Location was amazing. If you're looking to stay near the high Tatras, the I would definitely recommend this place. Easy to access some great hiking routes around the area. We got a taxi from Popard for about 20 euros.

It’s in the middle of the city. The ski bus stops in front of the hotel. There is a small shop under the building.

Even though we arrived quite late, the lady at the reception was very kind and patient. The rooms are functional for hikers starting the next day early. The beds were comfy, the bathroom equipped with shower gel and shampoo. There was even a kitchen (which we didn't use) and a fridge. I left the room keys in my back pocket when leaving for the big hike the next day so I could only return them in the evening when we got back, and they were very kind about this, too.

“Comfy old place”
Cosy and clean. Old building but i realy liked it. And it's practicly in the centre so you can hike to mountains from that place without driving closer. Appartment that we rented was comfy and clean.

Perfect location for reaching the trails and arriving by train. Accommodation was basic but bedrooms were large and comfortable. It was great to find a hostel with an apartment. Small supermarket within walking distance.

Perfect location, easy access to Strbske Lake. Helpful staff, optimal tourist accommodation for hikers. Bars, restaurants are nearby. 2 minutes walk to the Tatra train.
