Overview
Therasia Sea and SPA is set on the peninsula of Vulcanello, with views of the Aeolian Islands. This impressive building in white stone features a modern spa, and a private access to the sea. Local materials have been used to build the Therasia, including molten rock from Mount Etna, Sicilian terracotta, cedar and olive wood. The rooms are elegant and decorated in soft, relaxing colours. Guests can explore a nearby walking path of 1 km, going through Mediterranean bush, cactuses, and subtropical plants. A free shuttle to the centre of Vulcano and the harbour is also available. Each room is equipped with a balcony, an LCD TV with satellite channels, and a private bathroom in lava stone and coloured Sicilian tiles. Some rooms offer views of the sea and the islands. The property has 4 different restarurant: L'Arcipelago: Dive into the heart of Sicilian tradition at L'Arcipelago, where dinner comes alive with a selection of the region's finest meats, vegetables from our garden, and the freshest seafood. The restaurant's sharing degustation menus and à la carte options celebrate the authentic flavors of Sicily.

“Best place in Vulcano”
A wonderful stay at the Therasia Resort. The location is truly spectacular, with breathtaking views over the sea and the Aeolian Islands. My room was beautiful, comfortable, and offered an amazing view that made every moment special. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Vulcano.

The staff went above and beyond to help us make our anniversary stay here special. Couldn’t recommend the place enough! Great assistance getting us to the airport for our final day. Room was beautiful and the view was spectacular. The pool area and sea are are also extremely well kept and beautiful. The restaurants in this resort are the best hotel restaurants I’ve ever had the blessing of eating at. I strongly reccomend all the experiences available including all the restaurants. You will never see a more beautiful sunset from your room.

The breakfast was great, plenty of choice, although the service was a bit hit and miss. There were some great staff. The hotel was spotless and house keeping was excellent. Location unbeatable.

Therasia is the most beautiful hotel my husband and I have ever stayed at. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and it was the perfect stay for our honeymoon. Cannot recommend enough!

“Amazing hotel in a movie like setting”
Amazing property in a magical setting. The staff was dedicated to make sure our stay was as good as it could be. Quality of the food was also of note with 2 Michelin stars in the hotel!

“A truly enjoyable experience”
Fantastic location and personnel. Two restaurants with a Michelin star as well as two more without (even if one of them is under the general supervision of one of the star chefs). The view from our very pleasant room was breathtaking.

1. Staff were very friendly and attentive 2. The Spa facilities were very nice and relaxing 3. The balcony was a great place to relax 4. The room was kept to a good level of cleaning and we were not disturbed when requested 5. The views and location was beautiful

Top location with breathtaking and indeed unique view on the sea, the eolian islands and the volcano. Very good and caring staff. Our room (Vulcano suite on 3rd floor "with full sea view)" very nicely designed. Breakfast was excellent. Nice vegan restaurant, we enjoyed the 13 course menue.

“It’s beautiful and definitely worth a trip but be prepared to spend a lot on top of the accomodation bill.”
The hotel is stunning. Upon arriving it’s actually breathtaking the views and architecture. Beautiful rooms, lovely spa, staff are attentive, shuttle provided to my husband out of hours to climb the volcano. Pebble beach area is beautiful so don’t miss it. The food at Il Cappero could not be better or a more memorable experience. The chef re-designed my eight course tasting menu to accommodate a fish allergy which was great.
