Better bed, the room we used the mattress was terrible (lumpy and very old) and the pillows were basically old cushions.

What a wonderful place, so unique! The owners have thought of everything and it's the perfect location for wine tasting with so many caves within walking distance. We all loved it. Thank you so much.

“Quirky in concept/design but quite appealing after a day and as good a location in summer as winter”
Quiet location not far from Vouvray itself. Good exchange with the owner on departure about our comments. Nice restaurant within walking distance of the gite.

“Your chance to stay in a cave!”
This is a unique accommodation in a very beautiful setting. I implore anyone to try it at least once. The facilities were excellent rooms all decorated to a high standard. So much space. Host was there to welcome on arrival which was a nice added touch. Within meters of a wine tasting venue including a shop to but wine and other delicacies. Also has a personal parking space. Very much recommended.

amazing experience living in a cave. we have often seen these houses against the cliffs but never actually stayed in one
