“Spacious comfortable hillside retreat with stunning views”

Our recent stay at this holiday home in Volx was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled on a quiet hill beneath a beautiful rock face, the property offers breathtaking panoramic views over the Durance River valley. It’s a wonderfully tranquil and secure location, yet conveniently close to the charming village of Volx. A bakery and several supermarkets are just a short drive away, making it easy to stock up on essentials. The house itself is very spacious and thoughtfully equipped. With three large bedrooms and two bathrooms, it comfortably accommodated our family of three couples. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals, and the air conditioning in every room was a welcome relief during warmer days. We especially enjoyed the large, heated swimming pool, which was immaculately maintained and provided hours of relaxation. Practical amenities like a washing machine and dryer were also available, which is always a plus for a longer stay. In the evenings, we could unwind in the living room with its large TV, and it was a nice touch to have televisions in the bedrooms as well. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who made us feel right at home. The property is very secure, completely fenced and accessed through an electric gate, which gave us great peace of mind. The large, paved parking area easily fit our three cars with room to spare. If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and well-appointed base to explore the beautiful Haute-Provence region, we cannot recommend this property highly enough. It exceeded our expectations in every way.
