“Unforgettable Greek Experience!”

We have spent many summers in Greece, but Sofia’s Pottery House will always hold a special place in our hearts. From the very first moment, we felt more like visiting friends than guests. We were greeted with genuine smiles and thoughtful treats — delicious homemade sweets, fresh fruit,coffe, bread, cool water, and a traditional local drink waiting for us on arrival. It was such a warm and touching welcome. The hosts were not only kind but also truly passionate about making our stay memorable, offering us wonderful recommendations for restaurants, hidden beaches, and beautiful places to explore. The house itself is simply perfect — set in an amazing location with panoramic sea views, surrounded by spacious terraces where we enjoyed the sunrise and sunset every day. Inside, it offers two large bathrooms, three cozy bedrooms each with air conditioning, and a modern, fully equipped kitchen that made us feel right at home. This is more than just a place to stay — it’s a place where you feel the soul of Greece through its beauty and its people. We left with our hearts full and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

“Amazing, serene holiday place”

This is a beautiful house with an amazing sea view in a serene, quiet area, simply perfect vacation place! A very nice beach bar on a small beach is within a walking distance (just a bit steep), and other great beaches are from a 7-min drive and further. Everything else one might need can be found in a great city of Volos, 10 min away by car. We spent here 10 days with our 3 kids, and all of us enjoyed every moment of it! Our host Grigoris welcomed us amazingly, with everything we needed like toiletries, food and water for the first days, home made produce, and provided us with tips and suggestions where to go and what to do throughout our stay. We would definitely come back!

A wonderful retreat with a great host. Stunning views. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. It is not negative, just to know: You will need a car to get here and steps upstairs are quite steep.

It is very comfortable house with a great view, emaculate cleanliness, there is everything you need to feel relaxed. The area is stripped of tourists so we were able to enjoy the authentic spirit of Greece.

The apartment is huge (100m2), clean, and well-equipped. Some food and water were waiting for us in the fridge. It has a 360 view of the surroundings from the balconies. The host was extremely kind and helpful. We enjoyed every minute!

“Great apartment for family”

A beautifully decorated apartment located in a building where the landlords of the apartment also live. This enabled a quick and good response to all our requests. The apartment, which is located on the top floor of the building, has an amazing view of the whole neighborhood, the beaches and even an observation as far as South Pelion. The access to the apartment is through external metal stairs (private entrance to the apartment). The apartment is very spacious - three bedrooms and two bathrooms/toilets. One with a shower and the other with a bathtub. The large bathroom has a washing machine. The apartment has a small kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal for the family: cookware, plates, cutlery, glasses. In the refrigerator, basic food products were waiting for us to use on the first day. The apartment has several balconies and sitting areas, as the weather permits. Inside the apartment there is a small seating counter and also a large table for sitting for meals in one of the bedrooms (we were 5 and it was enough for us).

The location was stunning, the view was calming and magical, the service from Ms Sofia was on the highest of levels making us feel at home. The rooms were spacious, extremely clean, and fully equipped. There were amenities and also food items in the fridge and coffee. This was one of our favourite place during our holidays.

Large comfortable rooms with fantastic views. Comfortable beds, all the bedrooms are air-conditioned. The host Greg is very helpful.and kind. They provided bread, cheese & ham for sandwiches at no charge plus water in the fridge. They have everything for a very good holiday. Quite close to good restaurants. When we return to Volos we know where to book. Great value for money, you cannot be disappointed.
