Everything was just fantastic

What a nice location in a quaint village not far from Viveiro. An old stone building surrounded by a pretty garden with olove, lemon and orange trees - and vineyards. Nearby there are more stone houses as well as an old church and a dreamy cemetery, Very quiet and peaceful overall - something to relax in these turbulent times. Rooms and beds comfy, good shower pressure. I was welcomed by a very friendly senora and she seemed relieved that I was speaking Spanish as she doesn't speak anything else. She served me an excellent breakfast, all homemade (cake, different kinds of jam, apple jelly with the cheese etc) and local ingredients. Perfect spot and much nicer than nearby Viveiro town. Only suitable if you have your own vehicle.

The property was in a quiet, but not too remote, location, exceptionally well maintained and nicely furnished. The hostess could not have been more helpful or welcoming. We hope to return for longer stay at some time in the future

Although far from the center (car essential) is compensated with the tranquility of the location. The kindness of the owner and a very correct breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and it would have been useful some of the days. Although the hotel was full there were no parking problems.

We booked to stay at As Vinas purely because of the facilities; a restaurant, a bar, a shared lounge, garden and terrace - we had hoped to arrive, stay-in and enjoy a lovely home cooked meal there (as described) and not have to venture out again. To our DISAPPOINTMENT none of these facilities existed. When we arrived we asked if we could book dinner and we were told the restaurant was closed (due to Covid)....... well this was hard to understand as being May 2022 no other establishments were closed because of Covid and everywhere during our travels around Spain was back to normal with no closures - so this was a strange thing to hear on arrival! Also when booking the guesthouse we were offered the option to add-on an evening meal or book at the guest house on arrival - so this is very misleading and should be removed from their advert, as it is totally incorrect information. So - there we were, we'd arrived with nowhere to go to get a meal or snack and nowhere to go for a drink - we were stuck in the middle of this very pretty hamlet with literally nowhere to grab some food! The writeup for As Vinas definitely leads you to believe the restaurant, bar and terrace are open, but they are not - the bar and restaurant is closed, shutters down and dark - there is NO terrace or garden to sit in either! On the positive side: the room was clean, large and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was first class too - with lovely home made jams and cake. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming, which was nice. Such a shame about the bar and restaurant being closed as this is something that should be made very clear on the website - it is VERY misleading and was the main reason for us booking! We wouldn't stay here again, but we would recommend it to anyone who just wants to put their head down for the night, stay in their room, and does not need to get any food or drink. Plus be warned the dog next door doesn't stop barking during the night!
