We had an absolutely wonderful stay at B&B Dei Papi — truly one of the best experiences we’ve had in our travels. We always look for authentic, less touristy places that still offer high-quality service and real comfort, and this charming boutique property exceeded our expectations. The historic 13th-century residence has been beautifully restored, keeping its original character while offering all modern comforts. Our room was impeccably clean, extremely comfortable, and perfectly equipped. The beds were outstanding. Breakfast was exceptional, with delicious local products and great attention to presentation. What truly made our stay special were the hosts. They were always present, attentive, and remarkably thoughtful — often anticipating our needs before we even mentioned them. From offering the right type of glasses to preparing gluten-free options without being asked, everything was done with genuine care and elegance. This place is not just beautiful; it is run with heart, refinement, and a natural sense of hospitality. Our experience was not just a 10, but a 10+. It’s hard to put into words how beautiful the breakfast was and how professional it was laid out in our very own sitting room. The host delivered our breakfast quietly while were while we were still asleep and when we woke up, they delivered our coffee. Everything was perfection From the yogurt to the fluffy omelette and the Molton chocolate muffin .

“magical and comforable”
This is a magical place and the only place you want to be when staying in Viterbo: location in heart of historical centre, beautiful decoration and spacious rooms and very friendly service oriented hosts who organised everything for us. Rosanna also makes the best home made ricotta cake in Lazio.

I stayed in the rooftop suite with a skylight. It was a very unique layout. I liked it. The host was extremely friendly. It was a pleasure staying here.

Absolutely perfect boutique hotel with a real family atmosphere. Probably the best breakfast I have ever had anywhere. Viterbo is a fascinating city which deserves much more attention from visitors, and this is undoubtedly the best place to stay there.
