This hostel is on Visingsö Island, 3 km from the ferry terminal. It offers free Wi-Fi and simple rooms with access to a shared kitchen. Facilities include a large garden with playground. The sandy beaches along Lake Vättern are 1 km away. Visingsö Vandrarhem’s rooms are located in several small wooden houses, within 50 metres of the main building. All feature a small seating area and garden views. Toilets and showers are shared. The hostel’s TV room has sofas, board games and a selection of books and magazines. A souvenir shop is available on site. On-site parking is free. Kumlabadet’s public outdoor pool is just 200 metres from Vandrarhem Visingsö, and a grocery store is less than a 5-minute walk away. Gränna town centre is a 30-minute ferry ride away.

The hotel stays in a different place from the reception. It's hard to find the hotel. Their crew member is unfriendly and unhelpful.

Great location in center of island, very clean rooms , bathrooms.etc. nice ambience outside houses, good view of lake..sunset. We stayed in family rooms. Toilet is in the same house of rooms shared between rooms. Shower rooms were clean. Kitchen was well equipped and clean, few table-chairs were also available to sit and eat. Storage fridge was available. Bedsheets were not provided so we had to take ours. But overall for the price , services were very good.
