Highly recommended! The most wonderful and authentic place – it truly feels like staying with family. The staff, who are actually the family running the place, are incredibly kind and helpful. They also offer a delicious and very generous homemade dinner and breakfast. When we asked about wine tastings, they immediately took us to a neighboring winery where we had a fantastic experience."

“Lovely stay”

The stay was very pleasant, the room was tidy and the owners are very warm and helpful. There are a couple of dogs on the premises as well as farm animals. Highly recommend getting the breakfast here as well as a boat trip

Nice room, with really kind guests! The dinner and breakfast were great and there is plenty of vine tastings around which are also worth every penny!

“Beautiful agritourismo”

This felt like staying with family. The hosts were so warm and welcoming. The vista from the room was stunning, the meals we added on were delicious. The family dogs were also very fun. The brother of this family has a vineyard next door called ‘Winery "Tradicija" ‘ - we highly recommend visiting for a meal, the wine and food is some of the best!

I had the best night’s sleep of our entire holiday here – the room was perfectly quiet and dark, with an exceptionally comfortable bed and pillow. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, which were homemade, delicious, and prepared with fresh produce from the garden. The family running the property were incredibly welcoming and helpful, promptly answering my questions about the Lake Skadar boat trip. We ended up booking a private tour just for our family with a guide, which was a wonderful experience. This place is truly a gem, not to be missed when visiting Montenegro, especially if you’re looking to escape the busy coast.

Amazing place - Quite and beautiful, run by very nice family. You can also order food and buy homemade wine. We had great time there! Boat trip strongly recomended.

Such a special and unique experience staying at Vrzina Farm House. The family are so friendly and kind. They were very welcoming and helpful with any questions i had. The food was locally sourced, home cooked, delicious and very generous portions. The fish soup was amazing and fish from the lake was tender and tasty. The breakfast donuts they best i’ve had in montenegro. Trying the families home made wine and liquors was also a treat. The farm house is located in a quiet and peaceful location. If i was a writer i would come here and stay for a few weeks.

“Disappointing Experience – Uncomfortable and Unethical Feelings”

We were disappointed with our stay. The children, some very young, appeared to manage nearly everything, while the adults were mostly passive. Several dogs were kept in small cages and cried constantly – one puppy in particular was heartbreaking to hear. The room was acceptable, though not spotless. Common areas were quite dirty. The property seems unfinished, with signs of long-abandoned renovation. The boat tour offered was well-presented, but overpriced compared to Virpazar. Sadly, we didn’t feel welcome or at ease. Also the term Lake House suggests that the house is by a lake but the lake is a few kilometers away.

Clean, spacious room, home cooked fresh fish, very friendly and lovely family to chat with and learn a bit more about the area.

“Beautiful farm stay with gorgeous views of the mountains and lake”

The host family are wonderful people, friendly and helpful and they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time on their farm. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so patient and kind with our kids.
