“A lovely place to stop”

We stayed at Zorz for one night on our way from Piran to the Alps and it was lovely. The location is beautiful and quiet, the rooms are generous and comfortable and the staff were exceptional. We really enjoyed the wine tasting and it was great to be able to stay over afterwards!

I loved the amazing wine, loved the amazing breakfast, loved the bed and will come again to sit and enjoy life under the fig tree.

Loved it! The rooms were modern and comfortable. The staff members were so lovely. We had the wine tasting experience which was amazing, and the breakfast in the morning was also phenomenal. A beautiful location with stunning views. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend!

Žorž is a must stay place. Jan, the excellent host, took time to explain about the sophisticated and tasty wines they make on site. The 'picolet' is sublime. The view from the room is rustic and picturesque as are all the buildings on the winery estate. Inside the room is modern, tasteful, stylish and super clean. I loved staying here.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Žorž. The location is truly unique – a peaceful wine-making village that feels authentic and full of charm. It was such a refreshing change of pace and a perfect way to experience a different side of Slovenia. One of the highlights was the wine tasting offered by the hosts – not only were the wines excellent, but the whole experience was warm, fun, and memorable. The breakfast was also very enjoyable, with fresh and tasty options to start the day right. The combination of comfort, atmosphere, and hospitality made the stay special. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something authentic and relaxing away from the usual tourist spots.

“Beautiful winery with lovely wines and lovelier staff”

Nice, neat room in a beautifully located winery. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We booked the wine tasting and it was amazing! Nice wines and plenty of food with a good story. Breakfast was plentiful, we were spoiled.

Beautiful house in a beautiful little town. The wine tasting was great too. The staff was very attentive. And breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay!

Welcoming friendly staff. A very spacious and clean comfortable room with a fridge. We did the 6pm wine tasting which was very relaxing and fun. Thank you Ava! I loved that there is a coffee machine at reception also with hot water and you help yourself. This was very nice for an early 7am morning cup of tea before breakfast which was served 8-9:30am. Matka was very friendly and helpful at breakfast and gave us lots of tips. Thank you. Wish we could have stayed a second night to enjoy more of the village of Slap and its wineries. Also the charcuterie board they serve with the wine tasting was fantastic.

Very kind and helpful staff. I came with bus to Vipava and the owner picked me up from the busstation and also drove me back there when leaving. Big room and comfortable bed, was also possible to watch Netflix on the TV. Beautiful area and vineyards. Recommend doing the winetasting, it was very nice to try the winery´s own wines.

We loved it! The room and common spaces are very cute and cozy, the staff was wonderful and made us feel very comfortable from the first minute. When you visit don't miss the wine tasting and if the weather allows it, continue with some glasses in the lovely yard!

Beautiful place - very nice owner, comfortable rooms, great wine tasting, beautiful surroundings, all was perfect. Breakfast and tasting was possible with vege option. Public parking possible on the street close by.

The stay was great and it was an amazing experience sleeping inside the winery and having wine tasting. On top of all of that - the service was exceptional!

“Great stopover”

Nice stopover between Croatia and Ljubljana. Room was comfortable and staff really friendly. Can recommend the wine tasting and tour - first time we tried orange wine and enjoyed it.
