“Host physically assaulted me”

Where do I even begin with my horrible experience with this host, I have never in my life been assaulted by a host the way this man physically assaulted me, we had booked this place for a family getaway, before arriving the host had messaged me that there was construction work going on which they couldn’t complete because of the weather but was told there wouldn’t be any work done till after we leave, It was a bit annoying but the host told us he’d have champagne ready for the inconvenience when we arrived which he didn’t even have ready for us, upon arriving we had noticed the construction work but we didn’t mind as the inside wasn’t affected, the next day of our stay was non stop construction work, from the morning till when we were leaving, the machine used had also re tricked our entrance which made it extremely difficult to leave, I didn’t message the host as I thought let me just forget it as it’s only for today even though we were told there wouldn’t be any work done. When we was leaving they had continued the construction from early morning, we were told there wouldn’t be any work done however both out of the 4 days we were there, there was noisy construction, on the day we was supposed to leave the host had asked me if the construction had annoyed me to which I replied yes it did, I had only bought it up since he mentioned otherwise I wouldn’t have said anything, the host then called me a liar because I had confused the time of the workers arrriving despite me showing pictures of the machines in front of the door, the host was extremely rude that I found the construction annoying and said that were wasn’t any construction going on at the time but why ask me if there wansnt any work going on ? He clearly knew there was work going on which is why he asked and then when I said yes it did annoy me, he started behaving extremely aggressive, I told him we were leaving in 29 mins as the house was a tad bit messy with the duvets not folded so we wanted to make sure

Excellent location, in a quiet, bucolic and full of nature neighborhood, a typical dutch place. Confortable beds and good shower. Easy to park the car in the free public places. Very well equipped appartment. Excellent communication with the owner. There is a good supermarket nearby. Highly recommended!!!

The appartment was clean and cozy. The location was good, you can reach any destination easily. Michel was a great host, trying to help with any question.

The house is impeccably renovated with modern materials. It has everything needed for self-catering. Michel was always very diligent in all requests and even offered a discount voucher for car rental. The location is superb for exploring the Netherlands by car with free parking right in front.

“Hidden Gem”

The Host was ahead of everything you may need ... 'idiot-proof' guidance. The apartment is super. Clean and smells delicious fresh. We were so comfortable. It is a stay between stops so it was perfect. Supermart is 750m away. And very good quality food in nearby cafes/restaurants. The best dorado fish we have had in a long while at Prinz Henri nearby. And you can go in any direction to explore other towns. We embarked a trip to an old Hanseatic town one day and it went all easily.

The place was beautiful and had everything we needed, we were all very comfortable. Located a 10min-walk away from the bus station which we used daily to get to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam etc. Supermarket and other shops walking distance as well. Host was amazing, assisted from before our stay until check-out and after our stay, always ready to assist with any questions we had.

Great apartment! New, big, nice, clean, well equipped, parking in front, in beautiful little town, great communication with host👍 great choice if you travel with the car.

We really enjoyed the place from the apartment. Everything is clean and tidy. Really in a great location. There is a boathouse there that rents a boat and you can sail on the lake and between the houses. Just like Venice. highly recommend.
