“Charming and authentic former Medici property in Tuscany”

The hotel looks like a dream, it is an incredibly charming property, this residence was once a Medici hunting lodge. You can really feel that you're staying in a piece of history, as the manor still has all of its authentic charm. We stayed in the Chianti Riserva suite, which is a very spacious suite with separate bedroom, seating area and an enormous badroom, and it has great views of the property. The bed was very comfortable, probably the best sleep we had during our entire trip. The property is gorgeous and very well maintained. We did not use the pool during our stay, but it also looked great! We also pre-booked a tour and tasting of the Dianella winery and their wines, and we really enjoyed it! The wines are very tasty and have a good value, so we bought a few bottles to take home to enjoy later. We had dinner in the restaurant once, which we enjoyed with a bottle of the Dianella Chianti Riserva wine. The view from the restaurant terrace overlooking the Tuscan hills is just breathtaking, day and night! The staff of this resort and the restaurant are very friendly and welcoming.

This was a charming wine resort and was magical. The wines were lovely and we had a lovely stay and the staff were very helpful. Special mention to Nicola for arranging a late afternoon platter for us and for recommendations for other places to visit in Tuscany. We will be returnimg again.

A truly special place in the heart of Tuscany. Villa Dianella isn't just a regular winery, its a place filled with history and the best staff you could ever ask for. The rooms were just amazing in every way imaginable, and the views were absolutely stunning. The restaurant at the resort is fantastic, some of the best meals I've ever had. A truly special place! We traveled in the beginning of April, so it was a bit cold in the evenings and the weather wasnt on top, but just thinking about how amazing this place must be in May-September makes me want to go back just to experience it all over again. If you want to make memories that will last you for a life-time, Villa Dianella is the place. And if you decide to visit because of this review, please say hi from me to the chef and the staff!

“Most beautiful stay of my entire life!!”

We had such a wonderful stay—it was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel incredibly welcome. Their kindness and genuine hospitality are something very special; we’ve honestly never come across such lovely people. It felt less like a hotel and more like being part of a family. Our room, the Pinot Noir room, was beautiful, and waking up to such a stunning sunrise view made it even more special. The setting itself is absolutely breathtaking—full of charm and history, it really feels like stepping into the 16th century. Walking through the grounds felt like being in a princess garden, so peaceful and perfectly maintained. The food selection wasn’t huge, but everything was outstanding. You can really taste the quality and care, with seasonal ingredients and a thoughtful menu built around what’s fresh. Also I had the best omelette in my entire life, thanks to the chef. It was a very pleasant surprise that they had oat milk, it’s not very common you have alternative milk in Italy, and they had almond and also soya! It’s a big bonus for me! :) We did come across a small issue during our stay, but it was handled immediately and with such care and warmth that it only reinforced how exceptional the team is. They comforted us in a way that truly made us feel like family. We’re so grateful for this experience and will definitely be back one day. ❤️

All the staff were so nice and it was a dreamy stay. The decor the view is top level but it’s not really shown on the booking page :) you have to come to find out how beautiful it is, definitely blow your mind

We were upgraded to a huge suite which was beautifully fitted out and furnished. The views across the Tuscan hills were amazing. Staff were friendly and wine was superb.

Omg! The most beautiful place on earth. The views, the wine, the room, the pool, the story, the chief, the staff. Do I have to say anything else:)) Choose the room with the big windows and you will have the sunrise over the Tuscany hills shining in. We will come back for sure.

We loved our suite and the beautiful dining room with outstanding views of the vines. The pool areas was tranquil and scenic. Loved the wine tasting too!

We had a fantastic stay at Boutique Wine Resort Villa Dianella, beautifully located in the middle of the Tuscan vineyards. The villa itself is stunning, and the rooms are incredibly well maintained and elegantly decorated. At the reception we were warmly welcomed, and the hospitality throughout our stay was excellent. The swimming pool was wonderful, offering breathtaking views over the vineyards. It was also great that parasols and sunbeds were available free of charge, which made it extra relaxing. Of course, the wines were outstanding. We joined a wine tasting with paired dishes, which we can highly recommend to anyone. The hosts shared a lot of knowledge and passion about their wines, allowing us to taste and appreciate them properly. It was a truly memorable experience. Overall, our stay was absolutely worth every penny and we would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone visiting Tuscany.
