THE place to stay- right in the town square. A beautiful historical building and easy walking distance to the wonderful Astrid Liindgren World and House/Gardens. There’s even a miniature version of the hotel at Astrid Lindgren’s World.

“Beautiful building on a wonderful location, but has a hard time living up to its expectations.”
Building was lovely, the location was great and very central. Staff were mostly friendly, the decoration was quite nice and our room was spacious. Breakfast was diverse and plentiful. A dedicated parking garage was located very nearby. Also quite near (20 minute walk) to Astrid Lindgren's World.

“Beautiful historical hotel at a perfect location ⭐️”
The bedroom was well equipped with basic necessities and with acceptable beds. Clean and comfortable sheets, bedding and towels. The breakfast was very good, a large selection and a neat dining room. The location was exceptional; close to pharmacy, grocery store, Astrid Lindgren park and it her restaurants. Very good parking garage for free. Nice children friendly dinner buffet. Exceptionally good Limoncello with gin made at brewery in Vimmerby!

Lovely hotel on main square in lovely town in the country side. The room was big and comfortable, the price was quite high but all and all we were satisfied with our stay.
