Overview
Set in a 19th-Century château in the heart of Villié-Morgon in South Burgundy, Château de Bellevue offers a large garden, terrace and Beaujolais Vineyard. Lyon is a 45-minute drive away. Decorated elegantly, all rooms feature views of the garden and a wardrobe. They are complete with an en suite bathroom. A continental breakfast is available every morning from 08:30 to 10:00. Guests can also sample the wine produced on site, upon request. Mâcon is a 25-minute drive from the property and Golf Club du Beaujolais is 39 km away. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the château and free private parking is possible on site.

“Charming Chateau stay with a wine tasting that’s hard to beat”
An absolute stunning stay. From even before our arrival the property couldn’t be more than helpful, from finding us a vet to letting us know about restaurants in the area. David looked after our every need! The property and grounds are grand and everything you’d imagine from a Chateau. The breakfast was simple but delicious. There was even a surprise glass of champagne for the birthday boy. The wine tasting is a must and really was one of the best ones we had in this area. With David’s laid back charm and the fact that the wines are truely delicious, the whole experience couldn’t be faulted. An absolute fabulous experience and I can’t wait to return someday.

“Excellent stay!”
Our stay was great, thanks to the manager, his welcoming attitude and the location of the chateau. The vineyards are worth visiting. We also did a wine tasting there and walked around the property. Definitely recommend!

Amazing stay! The Princess Room is a true gem, we felt very welcome! Very friendly and welcoming staff. The big garden was just spectacular, we will definitely return!

“Incroyable”
absolutely incredible. as the french says “incroyable”. This was like a movie. a very strange scary and romantic movie that you want to keep watching again and again. this is just as romantic as you imagine it. a real chateau with a real garden with just a few rooms. we booked the simple rooms, but I recommend to book the next level with fireplace: we saw some other guests leaving it and it was incredible. It is not much more expensive. The chateau is located close to all POVs of Beaujolais, yet in the middle of vineyards. We bought some wine, but I must say that we havent tried it yet: we just returned. but buying it we didn’t care about the taste: we were willing to get a part of this place’ soul, because it was unbelievable. we will come back next year.

“Incredible castle on Beaujoles area, staff, panorama and wines was top of the top!!!”
Jocelyn was a perfect host, he explain everything to us to make better our experience, suggest best restaurant, prepare a wonderfull breakfast and show us the wonderfull winery of the castel; room was big and really nice, bed super confortable with a incredible terrace and panorama, the castle have a big and wonderfull garden to walk and relax, the wine was super, we will back for sure, free parking and free dogs was the top at least.
