Old renovated farmhouse 10 min outside Saumur. Very cute location, great pool, quiet, very nice hosts and good breakfast with homemade products. A pity we only stayed one night.

Excellent hoasts and lovely old house. Pool was heated to 27 deg C and was a good size.Garden was large and full of birds.Room was good and with air con.Very quiet location but only 7km into Saumur centre.

Everything was fantastic - such warm and friendly hosts who helped us with local knowledge. Beautiful facilities, a large, clean, comfortable room with air conditioning and adjoining bathroom. The pool was brilliant, as was the surrounds. A gorgeous garden to relax in with a glass of wine and watch the sun set! It was near by to the local town with excellent connections to other parts of the region. The breakfast was 10/10 with homemade jams, baked goods, fruit and homemade yoghurt. Overall a truly wonderful stay - we hope to be back soon!

a special property located 10 minutes by car from the center of Saumur. after a day of visiting the surroundings, it is a pleasure to sit by the pool, to relax in complete peace. it was a great pleasure to meet our hosts, Francis and Catherine, very pleasant, attentive and at the same time discreet people. breakfast very carefully prepared, every day with local news. on the last evening, at our request, they prepared a special plate with a local wine. thank you very much for the hospitality and we hope to come back one day.

la foliere is a wonderfull B en B. The hosts are very nice and helpfull. We got a very complete breakfast in the lovely garden. the room is not to big, but there is everything you need incl. coffee and tea maker. Bed is excellent, shower is the best. Close to Saumur, which is a very Nice town. After a long dat of cycling, the pool in the garden is the best.

The breakfast was excellent with home made jams and yoghurts and fresh fruit. The location was slightly further out of town than we thought but not really a problem.

Booked last minute as could not find hotel in Saumur.,Wow how lucky were we to find such a gem.A short ride from centre but worth the few miles.Welcomed by the most friendly hosts.Beautiful setting and the pool!! so relaxing.Breakfast was served on the patio as it was a beautiful morning,the food we were given was fresh and local to the area fresh fruit salad, croissants,yoghurts,homemade produce.Do not hesitate to stay here you will not be disappointed.

This is a charming chambre d'hote and the hosts made us feel very welcome. The decor and beds are high quality, with a very comfortable lounge for guests' use and the swimming pool was lovely after a hot day's travelling. The breakfast was delicious, including homemade jams and yoghurts, fresh fruit and plenty of coffee and tea. Only a short drive into Saumur this is a very peaceful countryside base.

We had a lovely stay in Saumur. Everything was perfect- even though the room was on the smaller side, it was laid out perfectly so it felt much bigger! The breakfast was simple and included home made yogurts and jams (we ended up buying a jam we loved it so much). Would definitely recommend booking here!
