We had a wonderful week here with the extended family including kids from 6 to 14. The location has a really stunning view over Praia de Vilarrube which a great beach for kids as is safe and changes so much from high to low tide. High tide the kids loved jumping in to the river at the back and low tide its perfect for learning to surf in the small swell. The rooms were very comfy and clean. The house has a really interesting with loads of room to chill out for multiple families. We did struggle to get everyone around the table but spent most meals in the garden anyway. The local restaurant Casa Caneiro had the most wonderful seafood including Goose Barnacles which were great. Be warned though when they say they only sell seafood they mean it. Including no sides etc. The area too is wonderful with great surf beaches and town alike and most within 10/15 mins. We would definitely return.
