Lovely cabin in a most beautiful scenic setting, efficient wood burner kept us toasty , the outdoor hot tub in the rain was a fab experience This was a place of calm, back to nature experience…if you want to switch off and reconnect with your self, this is the place to go to.

Beautiful secluded space with a familiar feeling and great hosts, Michael and Steffi, who spare no efforts to provide all the relevant info and practical tips to help their guests making the most of their time in the Lake Region in Chile. The private spa suites are cozy, with sauna and a mesmerising view to the Villarrica Volcano. Staying there was truly an unforgettable experience.

The lodges were greatly done, they were stylish, eco friendly, comfortable and cozy. The facilities there including the hot tub, outdoor shower, etc made it all the more special! I also loved the set up close to the house so we could pop in if we needed anything which was never a bother!

“A different experience for us”

Wonderful view, exceptionally helpful and friendly hosts with good English language. Much holiday-enhancing information and hand-drawn maps have proved invaluable. They provided a delicious home-cooked meal and wine on arrival and prepped our own hot tub located on terrace so had great views of stars and sunset. Rooms very comfortable with the additional bonus of Mt Villarricci in full view (weather-dependent) on opening curtains in morning.

Spectacular views of volcano, amazing cabins, but best were the hosts who were very helpful in pointing us to the nearby national parks and walks that we wanted to do, to the extent of kindly giving us very helpful handwritten maps.

A remote place to switch off or to relax after visiting the sights in the surrounding area (of which there are many). The owner Michael and Stefanie escaped crowded Europe and created their own little paradise in perfect peace in nature, to share it with their visitors, who have their privacy but feel like visiting old friends in their home. Their welcoming hospitality goes from heartily prepared breakfasts and - in case you choose for - delicious dinners with healthy ingredients from their garden over millions of tips and advises for discovering the area and to preparing the hot tub for your return in the evening. They pay attention to every little detail in order to give you the perfect holiday experience. We will certainly remember the days at them as one of the most beautiful hosting experiences and never forget the perfect peace and quiet while sitting in the hot tub in the evenings under the Milky Way with the red glowing top of volcano Villarrica. I loved my experience at Karibuni Lodge. The hosts are special people who really care about their guests. Much is an amazing chef, most of the food is from their garden, the eggs from their hens etc. The view over lake and volcano Villarrica is stunning, the hot tub at sunset fantastic.Steffie und Much even arranged my excursions. I highly recommended

Sensational place and amazingly friendly people. We felt like family on Christmas Day and throughout our stay. The owner of the accommodation prepares delicious healthy dinners. It's amazing to sit in a hot tub under the stars and watch the Villarica volcano do its little harmless eruptions.

Michael and Stefanie are some of the most amazing people we've ever had the pleasure to meet. The location is like a piece of heaven on earth. Their hospitality knows no limits. They were kind enough to even research and execute exquisite vegan dishes for my girlfriend. Their attention to detail paired with their incredible conversation and company made this trip an unforgettable one. I cannot recommend this place enough. It exceeded all expectations and left us wanting to stay at Karibuni lodge forever. We even extended our stay there simply because we couldn't get enough of this heavenly part of Chile. I will definitely come back one day, and hope everyone gets a chance to experience this magical place.
