“Beautiful Forest Cabin with Some Practical Challenges”
We stayed one night at Cabaña entre Árboles and overall, it’s a very nice place in the middle of the forest with a wonderful, welcoming host. The cabin is surrounded by nature, giving it a unique and peaceful atmosphere. However, there were some challenges. The property has no clear address, which made it harder to find and could be better communicated. The host only accepts cash or local bank transfers, and as visitors from abroad we couldn’t do a transfer. We had to travel about 20 minutes to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash, which also cost us an extra 9,500 in fees. Communication was difficult too, as the mobile signal in the area is very weak. Another thing to note is that the heater works with wood, so it was a bit cold for the kids during the night. Despite these issues, we really enjoyed our stay. The place itself is beautiful, peaceful, and worth visiting if you’re well-prepared with cash, warm clothes, and clear directions.
