“Would return to the restaurant but not to stay over.”
The location was in a lovely place with walks along the river and around the pretty village. We dined in the restaurant and chose the 3 course menu for €36 which was excellent.

I chose the location in Villandry,to visit some chateaux out of the tourist season . The bedroom was very small and the bathroom minute. Breakfast was good,served by a very kind staff. The waiter in the restaurant warmed up to us eventually,but only after serving us from the bottom of old opened wine bottles, presumably under instructions. He had to deal with our lack of heating and the manager had turned off the heating system! Not cool at all.
