Overview
Ca’ Maddalena is a family-run bed and breakfast immersed in the countryside around Villafranca di Verona. It offers stylish, ethnic rooms in a renovated 18th-century country house with a rustic feel. It boasts a scenic location on the renowned wine route, a special itinerary winding through the vineyards of Bardolino and Custoza, the most famous local wines. A breakfast buffet of sweet and savoury items is served each morning and includes homemade cakes and marmalades as well as home-grown fruit. The property is 1 km from Custoza, 15 km from the historic centre of Verona, and 20 km from Lake Garda and Sirmione Spa. A shuttle is available on request to the airport and Fiera di Verona exhibition centre.

“An interesting hotel. Should have done more research”
The breakfast was delicious and the staff very attentive and friendly. The grounds were pretty and well maintained. Reminded me of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Able to bring own food and wine in despite this being a bar hotel. Lunch sold at the bar was nice.

All great! Pool can be entered by external guests and bit crowded but hotel guest have always a slot and place guaranteed.

Ca’ Maddalena is so beautiful. We loved all the decor and wonderful things on display. The service was excellent and staff were super friendly. The pool and area around was so relaxing. A perfect last stop on our trip.

“I would have loved to stay longer at this beautiful hotel but the overcrowded pool area with more and more people being”
It was beautifully arranged, felt like being in Africa or Bali with the heavy wooden furniture. The atmosphere was really nice with the great holiday vibe. I loved the garden and the pool and the trees and many very comfortable beds. You could always find the shade. Beautifully designed property and greatly executed. The breakfast and the service was great and very kind and welcoming.

Beautiful garden and swimming pool. Big rooms and amazing breakfast. Near a charming small town and between Verona and Lake Garda. The owners are very helpful and friendly.

Everything was beyond our expectations from owner who is really friendly, house, backyard and front yard. How well maintained is all. Quietness of the place and they have dog name Buddy who was playful with children, MUST GO!

“Amazing hotel!”
Breakfast is the best in Italy. Amazing atmosphere for relaxation, excellent conditions for families with children. The design of the hotel refers to African motifs, which is very unusual and interesting. Great pool, pool bar has delicious snacks and cocktails. Aperol Spritz costs 3.5 euros! Someday I will definitely come back to this hotel again :)
